The film, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer, has already sold out in a number of theaters so be sure to get tickets before time runs out.

The interview began with a discussion on a recent Rasmussen Poll that found that 2/3rds of Americans fear that the country is becoming a police state and the various attempts to take down President Trump with lawfare. When asked about when the use of the state against political enemies will come to an end, D'Souza pointed to Republicans who are failing to meet the moment.

"The end will only come when Republicans and conservatives develop a different psychology," D'Souza explained. "One in which they recognize the assault on them and also on the basic freedoms of America and they take the steps necessary to roll back the police state. So there are things that need to be done but a lot of Republicans are a little bit like an antelope grazing in a field who sees movement in the trees and should recognize that there is a predator waiting to jump on your back."

He went on to explain that the film serves as a warning to encourage the "herd" to organize in order to push back against the emerging police state. D'Souza went on to explain that the cases, particularly the charges related to classified documents, should be heard but that it is preposterous to have charged Trump with 91 various crimes in localities across the country.

"If we can't get him on the federal case, we'll get him in Florida. If we can't get him in Florida, we'll get him in Georgia. If we can't get him in Georgia, we'll get him in New York. And if the criminal charges don't stick, we'll try to wreck his businesses," D'Souza explained about the left's mentality. "This is so manifestly a barbaric police state tactic."

He went on to explain that the Democrats want to destroy the two-party system in order to create a single-party state and a broken opposition.

The filmmaker went on to explain that the Democrats don't trust the American people and that Democrats are putting up a facade as the police state is under construction. "They make it sound as if Biden is fighting for democracy and in their perverted definition of democracy, one candidate, the rival party, is an opponent of democracy and their party is the champion of democracy," he explained. "So, it is democratic to shut down the other party, lock up its main candidate, terrify its supporters, and all of this is supposed to protect democracy. This is exactly what Orwell called 'doublespeak.'"

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, D'Souza is looking to expose the burgeoning tyrannical government in his upcoming blockbuster documentary 'Police State.'

As outlined on policestatefilm.net, the film is set to release to theaters across America for showings on October 23 and October 25. There will also be a virtual screening later in the month on October 27.

The film, produced by D’Souza Media LLC, focuses on the weaponization of the judicial system against conservative and Christian Americans.

"'Police State' is a movie that I never wanted to make, because I never wanted America to get to a point where a movie like this needed to be made," D'Souza says about his film on its website. "I feel like the animal that alerts the herd to approaching danger, so we can take precautionary steps before it’s too late."

The documentary was made in collaboration with conservative commentator and former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino and features actor Nick Searcy.

"The police state isn’t coming, it’s already here," Bongino said. "The signs are everywhere. And once you recognize them, your senses will be heightened to the danger we’re all in.”

"The relentless persecution of political opponents by the party in power is a hallmark of totalitarian countries," Searcy added about the current state of political persecution in America. "In a police state, the only real crime is daring to question the State. America is now a police state.”

The documentary includes interviews with prominent conservative leaders including Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, and others.
