WATCH: Don Lemon Humiliates Himself On National Television, Says Nikki Haley ‘Isn’t in Her Prime’

On Thursday, Don Lemon, co-host of CNN This Morning with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins, humiliated himself on national television following a discussion about the age of presidential contenders in the 2024 race. One of those contenders, Nikki Haley, made age a prime aspect of her initial campaign kickoff.

The 51-year-old Haley has emphasized that, when compared to other candidates like Donald Trump or Joe Biden, she is rather youthful, saying in her campaign ad: “It’s time for a new generation of leadership. To rediscover fiscal responsibility, secure our border, and strengthen our country, our pride, and our purpose.”

Haley has also announced that she will advocate for mental competency tests for politicians over the age of 75 as well as term limits in Congress.

These suggestions, however, don’t sit well with Don Lemon who has long been a supporter of the 80-year-old Joe Biden.

“This whole talk about age makes me uncomfortable. I think it’s the wrong road to go down,” Don Lemon argued. “She says people, you know, politicians are something if not in their prime. Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime, sorry. A woman is considered to be in their prime in 20s and 30s and maybe 40s. That’s not according to me.”

When pressed on the matter by his fellow co-host Poppy Harlow, Lemon attempted to justify his argument by appealing to Google’s authority.

“It depends, just like prime, if you look it up. If you Google it, when is a woman in her prime, it’ll say 20s, 30s, and 40s,” Lemon continued. “I’m not saying I agree with that. I think she has to be careful about saying that, you know, politicians are in their prime.”

“I think we need a qualifier, are you talking about prime for like childbearing or are you talking about prime for being president?” asked Harlow.

“I’m just saying what the facts are. Google it. Everybody at home, when is a woman in her prime, it says 20s, 30s, and 40s,” the former primetime CNN host said. “And I’m just saying should be careful about saying that politicians are not in their prime and they need to be in their prime when they serve. Because she wouldn’t be in her prime according to…Google or whatever it is.”

Once again Don Lemon showcases why he is one of the worst anchors on network television. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Lemon had his primetime show cut from the airwaves by CNN CEO Chris Licht as he was demoted to a morning show. Despite the lesser audience, Lemon has still found ways to humiliate himself.
