WATCH: East Palestine Resident Gives Tragic Interview to Tucker Carlson, Pleads For Help – ‘Where is Everyone?’

On Thursday, Tucker Carlson interviewed Courtney Miller, a woman who has gone viral showcasing the devastating impact of the East Palestine train derailment on the area’s local water supply. In a now-viral video, Miller can be seen throwing a rock into a creek bed in her backyard leading to a metallic sheen appearing after it was disrupted.

“Even MORE proof that the EPA is LYING to the people of East Palestine,” the Twitter video is captioned. “THIS WATER IS INSANELY CONTAMINATED.”

Tucker opened his show focusing on the impact of the train derailment and subsequent chemical burn on the people of the small Ohio town.

“In the subsequent days, a lot of people have wondered out loud, was it really a wise decision to light thousands of gallons of vinyl chloride on fire, releasing a World War I era bioweapon into the air over a populated area?” asked Tucker in his opening monologue. “Was that a good call? Was it really safe, two days later, for people to go back to their homes?”

To get the perspective of local residents, Miller was brought on for Americans across the country to hear about the conditions in which these Americans are living.

“Courtney Miller joins us tonight. Courtney thanks so much for coming on,” said Tucker. “So you went to the meeting last night, the now famous meeting that the Biden administration and Norfolk Southern both boycotted for their own safety. Did you learn anything?”

“We got no answers. Nothing, obsoletely nothing,” the East Palestine resident stated. “People were getting more upset and we just got up and left. They told us that they were supposed to know what was on that train because it was hazardous materials and at first it was just one chemical and then it was two chemicals.”

“The paper they gave us last night had six different chemicals, hazardous chemicals, listed on the paper saying that’s what was on the train. Nobody knows what’s on the train. We’re getting the runaround. Nobody wants to touch the water,” she said. “I’m not sure if you saw the Twitter video. Last I checked it was up to 2.4 million views in a couple of hours of me throwing a rock in a creek bed behind my house.”

“The EPA said it was fine to drink, DeWine said it was fine and now all of a sudden now we have to drink bottled water, but who’s paying for that bottled water?” she asked. “We are, we have to pay for it. And a lot of us are on welfare. A lot of us don’t have the extra money because it gets expensive especially if it gets absorbed into our skin. Do we have to bathe in bottled water? Who’s paying for this? We are, we have to.”

“So when I threw that rock in that Twitter video and you can see all of that disgusting rainbow-colored stuff coming up, I made sure that I bottled it,” Miller revealed. “I bottled it, I labeled it, I dated it so DeWine and the EPA, here’s the bottle of water that they can drink while they are making us go to the store and buy this bottle of water that we have to drink when I’m a single mother.”

“I have two children, and I don’t have a vehicle currently so I have to walk to the store and carry a case of water and tout around a nine-year-old and a five-year-old walking to and from a store to get bottled water,” the resident explained, adding, “Where’s our help and what about the people who can’t walk to the store who don’t have vehicles? Why is no one out here helping us? Where is everyone? Why is DeWine not doing his job? Why is FEMA not here? Why aren’t we getting any answers when we were supposed to get answers?”

With the people of East Palestine continuing to suffer, state and federal officials are failing to act. Governor DeWine and President Biden need to take action to fix this issue before potentially life-long consequences affect the health and safety of the people of East Palestine, Ohio.
