On Monday, South Carolina Trump supporters came out in droves ahead of the leading Republican presidential candidate's upcoming rally in Summerville that is set to begin at 3 PM EST.
In footage seen from outside the venue as early as 8:30 AM, hundreds of supporters could be seen waiting in anticipation of the 45th President's arrival. Supporters could be seen wearing Make America Great Again hats, waving flags, and waiting in long lines to enter the venue at noon for ticketholders.
"Gigantic crowd in South Carolina that is bubbling with excitement to see President Trump!" OANN National Political Correspondent Daniel Baldwin wrote. "They’ve been out here since last night!"
"Big crowd at 8:30am on Monday in Summerville, South Carolina to see Pres. Trump speak later today," Baldwin added. "Super high energy and enthusiasm!"
According to Count On 2 News, Trump will be joined by Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC) both of whom have endorsed the president for the Republican nomination.
“He is for us. He’s not for only one group. He’s not a clique, and I think he’s good for us," Moncks Corner resident Pamela Williams told the outlet. "And because he didn’t make it the last time because of who else is in the office right now, that’s why we’re in this shape that we’re in now."
“He’s got a bad attitude, but hey, I moved down from New York state and everybody in New York City has got a bad attitude,” supporter Doug Smith explained. “But he knows how to manage a business and that’s what the country is — it’s the biggest business concern in the world — and we need somebody in there that knows how to run it like a business. I think we were a lot better off with Trump, even with his mouth, than we are now.”
As Trump continues to dominate the polls both in the Republican primary and against President Biden, his crowds will only get bigger as excitement for his return reaches a fever pitch.
