WATCH: Hillary Clinton Calls For The 'Formal Deprogramming' Of 'Cult' Trump Supporters

On Thursday evening, former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton joined CNN for a sit-down interview to discuss the upcoming 2024 presidential election and more specifically 45th President Donald Trump and his supporters.

One moment has gone viral after the former first lady called for the "formal deprogramming" of Trump supporters which many have taken as a threat of reeducation camps.

"There are very strong partisans in both parties in the past and we had very little battles over all kinds of things," Clinton began. "Gun control and climate change and the economy and taxes. But there wasn't this little tail of extremism wagging the dog of the Republican Party as it is today."

"And sadly, so many of those extremists, those MAGA extremists, take their marching orders from Donald Trump who has no credibility left by any measure," she argued. "He is only in it for himself."

"He is now defending himself in civil actions and criminal actions and when do they break with him because at some point maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members. But something needs to happen," she concluded.

Criticism instantly began pouring in as lawmakers, conservative influencers, and others condemned the comments by the well-connected and influential Democrat who, like more than anyone else, is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

"7 years ago, Hillary Clinton infamously labeled half of our country 'deplorable' & 'irredeemable,'" wrote Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL). "Last night on CNN, she called Republicans "extremists," a 'cult' & called for the 'formal deprograming' of Republicans across our country. This is unhinged behavior."

"Nothing to see here… just Hillary Clinton wanting to put Republicans into re-education camps," wrote LibsOfTikTok founder Chaya Raichik. 

"Not sure which is worse. Hillary Clinton labeling someone else as lacking 'credibility,'" Sebastian Gorka remarked, adding, "Or her calling for the 're-programming' of America citizens."

"Hillary Clinton wants to send MAGA supporters to 'formal deprogramming' camps. I can’t speak for everyone, but I know a lot of these good ol’ boys in red states will not go voluntarily into those trains and buses," DC Draino aka Rogan O'Handley wrote. "Doe[s] she really think this is the best idea?"

Clinton's comments showcase the growing authoritarian sentiments of the radical left and their desire to use whatever means necessary to not only defeat Donald Trump in 2024 but to go after the millions of Americans who support his candidacy. America's increasing polarization is resulting in growing extremism and it shines through on the left nearly every day.
