On Tuesday evening, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) took the stage at the vice presidential debate in New York City. During the debate, the two vice presidential debates clashed on January 6, democracy, and censorship.
"We do actually have a threat to democracy in this country -- It is the threat of censorship," Vance said. "It is Americans casting aside lifelong friendships because of disagreements over politics. Its big technology companies silencing their fellow citizens and it's Kamala Harris saying that, rather than debate and persuade her fellow Americans, she would like to censor people who engage in misinformation."
