WATCH: Jill Biden Snaps At CBS Host When Confronted With Polls, Says 'It’s Obvious That Joe Will Win This Election’

On Wednesday, First Lady Jill Biden joined 'CBS Mornings' to discuss her husband's ongoing campaign to win another four years at the White House. During the discussion, Biden repeatedly attempted to counter the recent bad polling the president has seen in the various swing states that he needs to win in November.

'CBS Mornings' co-host Gayle King asked the first lady how her husband's reelection campaign was going, to which Biden said, "My gosh, it's going great. I have been traveling every day that I'm not in the classroom. People are excited. And I really feel like, you know, people know the choice this election, they can choose chaos or choose, you know, steady, wisdom, experience."

"Is there not a part of you that's a little worried?" Gayle asked in a follow-up. "No. I feel that Joe will be re-elected," Biden responded. Co-host Tony Dokoupil then chimed in to confront the first lady on the reality on the ground, with recent polling showing Biden underwater in six of the seven swing states. "But when these polls like The Wall Street Journal one land in the White House and he's losing in all the battleground states –" Dokoupil asked before being interrupted by Biden.

"No, he's not losing in all the battleground states," Biden said, per Breitbart, before Dokoupil chimed in with "All but one."

"He is coming up," the first lady claimed. "He's even or doing better. So you know what? Once people start to focus in and they see their two choices, it's obvious that Joe will win this election." While First Lady Jill Biden is confident that her husband will win the election in November, recent polls say otherwise. The Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday shows that Trump's America First message resonates with voters in the battleground states. 

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the poll, which covers March 17-24, shows Trump besting Biden by six points in North Carolina, 48 percent to 42 percent, respectively. The 45th president also holds a strong lead in other states, including Arizona with a five-point advantage, Nevada with a four-point lead, Pennsylvania and Michigan with three-point leads, and Georgia with a one-point lead. The only state currently contested by Biden is Wisconsin, with both candidates tied at 46 percent.

Making matters even worse for the Bidens, Trump is currently leading the Real Clear Politics national polling average by 0.6 percent. The Democratic incumbent hasn't led Trump in the average since September 2023, and it is likely that Trump will continue to hold a lead over his opponent as Biden's various policy blunders continue to worsen by the day.
