On podcaster Joe Rogan's most recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' he explained the electric moment when leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump and the "right-wing Avengers" entered UFC 287 on Saturday to roaring applause, a moment that Rogan described as "f*cking bananas." As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the thousands of fans packed into Madison Square Garden in New York City were surprised when Donald Trump entered the venue alongside conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, UFC CEO Dana White, musician Kid Rock, and boxer Mike Tyson.
"When he walked out at Madison Square Garden, it was f*cking bananas. It was. The whole place was cheering. He walks out to Kid Rock's 'American Badass' with Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson. Walking in like the right-wing Avengers, and the place went nuts. I'm telling you, the f*cking cheers of the crowd were nuts. It was overwhelmingly in support of him, and it lasted a long time," Rogan said. "It was a roar. You had to hear what the crowd sounded like before he walked in and when he did. It was just overwhelming cheers for over a minute. Imagine a minute of people screaming at the top of their lungs."
As Trump faced down multiple indictments in New York City, Washington, D.C., Fulton County, Georgia, and Florida, the visit to UFC likely raised his spirits. Trump has regularly attended UFC events in the past, including UFC's Madison Square Garden event in 2019 when he was still president. It is clear that UFC is like another home for the 45th president, as thousands of adoring fans went wild upon his entrance. Trump's popularity with everyday Americans is growing by the day as his campaign to win back the White House gains steam.
