WATCH: Kamala Harris' Cringe 'Man Enough' Ad Mercilessly Mocked - 'Did The Harris/Walz Campaign Reach Out To A Single Man'

On Friday, a super PAC supporting Vice President Kamala Harris released a new ad meant to target American men, a demographic increasingly supporting 45th President Donald Trump in the presidential race. The TikTok advertisement, however, was mercilessly mocked given that the men included in the minute-and-a-half video were seen by many as being the exact opposite of masculine or attempting to inauthentically portray masculine traits.

The ad opens with each of the four paid actors saying, "I am a man," and then going on to say they are "man enough" to eat a rare steak, deadlift 500 pounds, or rebuild a carbonator. The political advertisement then shifts when one of the actors says he's not "afraid of women." The male actors then explain that they aren't afraid of a female president and aren't afraid to stand up for women who demand access to abortion.

The ad, which encouraged men to "man up" and "get involved, was condemned by conservative commentators. "Kamala is losing men by a historic margin. So she made this ad of men saying they are man enough to vote Kamala. It actually made me cringe multiple times. This should fix her man problem," podcast host Clay Travis wrote on X.

"Did the Harris/Walz campaign reach out to a single man who doesn't have a testosterone deficiency when making this ad?" Ryan James Girdusky jokingly asked. Others took another approach, explaining to followers that the ad is a symptom of a different problem among left-leaning political consultants.

"This ad is amazing because neither pole in the argument captures the spirit of 'being a real man.' It's not about barrel-aged bourbon or deadlifting 500 pounds, nor is it about supporting IVF or voting for Kamala Harris," Christopher Rufo explained. "These are both caricatures: one is a left-wing mistranslation of 'manosphere masculinity'; the other is an attempt to 'redefine masculinity' in left-wing ideological terms. Taken together, they represent a phony simulacrum of the male nature. Manhood is about pursuing achievement, taking care of one's family and friends, contributing to the institutions of society, and advancing the common good. It can be advanced by all types—physical and intellectual, stoic and emotional, conservative and liberal. It exists prior to and beneath ideology. Be wary of any political formula that presents itself as the exclusive definition of masculinity. You are likely being sold a bill of goods."
