WATCH: Lara Trump Reveals March Was The 'Largest Fundraising Month For The RNC In History'

On Thursday, newly-elected Republican National Committee co-Chair Lara Trump sat down with Newsmax's Eric Bolling to discuss the massive fundraising success that the organization saw in March as it works overtime to catch up to President Joe Biden's fundraising numbers. March was so successful for the RNC that it was the largest fundraising month in the organization's history.

"That's been really the only talking point that I think the DNC [Democratic National Committee] has had is that, 'Oh, well, they have more money than us.' Not for long, folks. This was a huge fundraising month for the RNC. ... We're really proud of the work we've done, and we're just getting started," Lara Trump explained to the Newsmax host. "We are now one combined effort with the campaign, and the advantage that it gives us is we don't have to pay two people to do the same job. There is no daylight between the two of us: the Trump campaign and the RNC. And that goes to the advantage of Donald Trump."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump and the RNC were able to raise $65.6 million and ended the month with $93.1 million on hand to fund Trump's presidential campaign. Trump's March fundraising numbers dwarf his previous donation numbers, with Trump raising $9 million in January and $20 million in February. Campaign advisor Susie Wiles explained that the large influx of cash to the campaign is thanks to the campaign "steadily ramping up our fundraising efforts, and our March numbers are a testament to the overwhelming support for President Trump by voters all across the spectrum. Republicans may not be beneficiaries of the self-interested largess from Hollywood and Silicon Valley elites, but President Trump is proud to be supported by donations from voters who are the backbone of this nation, which will fuel Republicans up and down the ballot."

"President Donald J. Trump has again created a fundraising juggernaut among Republicans. While he has been the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party for less than a month, the RNC and Trump campaign are one unified operation and focused on victory," newly-appointed RNC Chair Michael Whatley explained. President Trump will be hosting a major fundraiser on Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida, that could see up to $40 million raised to take back the White House.

While the RNC is bringing in tens of millions of dollars, Trump is hosting a $43 million joint fundraiser with the RNC in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday. The fundraiser's success is largely due to Trump's initiative, with the Republican leader reportedly calling up fellow billionaires to encourage them to donate to the Save America PAC. Wall Street billionaire John Paulson will host the fundraiser, featuring an "Inaugural Leadership Dinner" selling tickets as high as $824,600 for a seat at President Trump's table. In addition to Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump being in attendance, the event will also include former presidential candidates Vivek Ramaswamy (R-OH), Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND), and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).

As reported by Breitbart, Lara Trump revealed that March was the most successful month of fundraising in the RNC's history and that the Palm Beach fundraiser will be monumental. "This is our first major fundraising event with our joint fundraising committee, Trump 47 Committee. This is a fundraising committee between the RNC and the campaign. We have $40 million that we've already raised for that single event. As of yesterday, we reported our March fundraising numbers — $65.6 million we have brought in just in the month of March."
