WATCH: Lindsay Graham Doesn't Holdback Against Liberal Reporter Attempting To Defend Biden - 'I’m Worried About Biden Destroying The World'

On Sunday, Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) joined Kristen Welker on 'Meet the Press' to discuss the ongoing war in Gaza, the State of the Union address, and the 2024 presidential election between 45th President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

The interview began with a focus on foreign policy, with Graham criticizing the president for his efforts to convince Israel not to go into southern Gaza and finish off the terrorist organization Hamas and instead establish a ceasefire agreement. Graham was then asked about Trump's plan to deliver aid to Ukraine via a loan rather than a direct transfer of arms to the wartorn nation.

Welker then pushed Graham on Trump's recent comments about Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban earlier in the week during the European leader's trip to Mar-a-Lago. "Just for our viewers, to remind them, Orbán believes that liberal democracy doesn't work. He's packed Hungary's courts with loyalists," the NBC host said. "He seized control of the media outlets. He's friends with Putin. He's friends with Xi." Welker then played a clip of Trump telling Mar-a-Lago patrons that Orban is a "better, smarter" leader who "does a good job" leading his country. "Do you think Viktor Orbán's leadership is something that Trump aspires to in a second term?" Welker asked Graham.

"I think the best way to judge President Trump's second term is by what he did in his first term. You know, Russia didn't invade on President Trump's watch. Hamas didn't try to destroy Israel on his watch. In Afghanistan – the Taliban weren't in charge on his watch," the South Carolina senator said, as reported by The Daily Wire. "So, here's what I would say: If you're worried about the world being on fire, you're right. If you think Joe Biden's policies lack deterrence and he's weak in the eyes of our enemies, you're right. So, if you want to get the world back in order, you'd better vote for Trump."

Welker then pushed back on Graham by pointing to Trump's comments that he "wants to be a dictator" for the first day of his presidency and seeks "retribution" against those who have wronged him in recent years. "You know what he said? Retribution would be a success," Graham responded. "Who knocked Trump off the ballot in Colorado? Who knocked Trump off the ballot in Maine? There's a liberal jihad against everything Trump. I'm not worried about Trump destroying democracy. I'm worried Joe Biden is destroying the world."

"Orban is not on the ballot," Graham said amid the fiery interview. "You got to vote between Trump and Biden. Biden has screwed the world up in every way you can. Broken borders. The world is on fire. If he really is back, if he's with it, if he's energetic, get in a room with Donald Trump and debate."
