Over the weekend, a massive caravan of Trump supporters filled the streets of New York as excitement for the 45th president continues to grow as the 2024 campaign heats up.
In the now-viral video, dozens of cars can be seen with American flags and honking along the way.
"Beautiful pro-Trump caravan today in New York. The grassroots are firmly behind the People’s President!" Olivia Ingrassia wrote.
"I’ll never forget how 1 candidate had 30 mile long car parades & the other who could barely fill his press circles got the “most votes in American history," explained Rogan O'Handley.
"MAGA Caravans are starting. This was in NY. When will we start seeing the boat parades?" Twitter user MAGS asked.
During the 2020 election, Trump supporters began massive caravans of cars and boats across the United States to show their support for the Republican candidate.
One such caravan, now infamous, took place in Austin, Texas in September 2020. As hundreds of boats took to the waters with Trump flags, five participating vessels sunk due to the massive wakes created by the caravan, as reported by NPR.
While this was just one instance that actually caught the mainstream media's attention, caravans like the one seen in New York and Austin were common during the 2020 election and will likely be commonplace in 2024.
As Trump continues to dominate the national conversation as well as the 2024 polls, Americans are likely to see more of these car and boat caravans in the coming months. It appears like the 45th president's supporters are wanting to make a statement that can't be ignored by the mainstream media. These patriots are here to stay and so is President Trump.
