WATCH: Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna SLAM The 'Corrupt Lawfare' Against Trump During Trial Visit

A number of House Republicans joined presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump on Thursday for the third day of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's testimony in the 'hush money' case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D). During Cohen's testimony, several America First Republicans stepped out of the courthouse to speak to the press, slamming the case against Trump and exposing Cohen for his lies.

During the cross-examination, Trump attorney Todd Blanche gradually moved through the various lies that Cohen, a convicted perjurer, has told throughout the years in an effort to discredit his testimony. The defense's cross-examination is expected to conclude this week and the prosecution will likely rest their case with Cohen as the final witness.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), along with a united front of Reps. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Eli Crane (R-AZ), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Bob Good (R-VA), Ralph Norman (R-SC), Mike Waltz (R-FL), Michael Cloud (R-TX), Andy Ogles (R-TN), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO), stood together in condemning Cohen for his repeated lies.

"We watched Michael Cohen get dog-walked through the series of lies he's told. There is literally no branch of government that Michael Cohen has not lied to," Gaetz said. "He lied to investigators, he lied to the judge…he lied to the United States Congress, and he committed these lies for his own benefit."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna also didn't hold back during her remarks to the press, stating, "We are here today because we know that this is nonsense and should not be happening in the United States of America. Furthermore, Cohen admitted to lying to members of Congress, that's contempt of Congress." Luna then explained that it was "no coincidence" that Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), a client of Judge Juan Merchan's daughter, prepared Michael Cohen for his testimony. "It is corrupt lawfare, it's Biden's prosecution...and Biden, you're going to lose this election cycle!"

Other lawmakers took aim at the judge's decision to not recuse himself from the case despite his daughter's connection to Democrat politicians. "We have a judge whose daughter is making money...whose family is enriching themselves on what's happening today? Any judge worth their soul would've recused themselves," Rep. Michael Waltz said. "This isn't justice. This is politics, and it's political warfare."

In recent days, President Trump has been joined by Republican lawmakers and officials from across the country, with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) joining the president on Tuesday and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton attending the trial last week.
