WATCH: Former First Lady Melania Trump Releases Powerful Trailer For Upcoming Memoir - 'I Feel A Responsibility To Clarify The Facts'

On Thursday, former First Lady Melania Trump announced her upcoming memoir, which will showcase her life from being born in Yugoslavia to entering the White House as President Donald Trump's spouse. The former first lady posted a trailer for her upcoming book on social media, and it is expected to be released on October 1.

"This memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me. As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective with you," Melania said in the announcement video.

The memoir's description, found on melaniatrump.com, describes the book as a "powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has defined personal excellence, overcome adversity, and carved her own path. The former First Lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life." According to the site, the book will include stories and images never seen by the public before.

The memoir, published by Skyhorse Publishing, is available for pre-order in three versions. The priciest version, at $150, will be signed by Melania, include bonus photographs, and come with a digital collectible. The second version, at $75, will be signed by the former first lady, and the third standard version will go for $40. Thanks to the pre-orders, the memoir has already reached the top of Amazon's best-selling book list.

"Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows," Melania explained to Fox News. "Each story shaped me into who I am today." While the former first lady has largely kept out of the media spotlight amid her husband's high-stakes election campaign, she has held several fundraisers at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and called for unity after the attempted assassination of President Trump on July 13.

"When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron's life, were on the brink of devastating change," she wrote in a statement following the assassination attempt. "I am thinking of you, now, my fellow Americans. Dawn is here again. Let us reunite. Now."
