WATCH: Mexican Trains Full Of Migrants Head To Texas Leaving Border Agents 'Completely Overrun'

On Monday, a video surfaced from Mexico showing large groups of migrants aboard a freight train heading north towards the US-Mexico border amid a migrant surge over the past few years that has led to millions of illegal aliens entering the country under President Joe Biden's watch.

Hundreds of migrants were seen riding atop a BNSF Railway train departing from Irapuato, Guanajuato, a region that is around 200 miles northwest of Mexico City. From there, the train's route goes to Torreon, Monterey, and then just across the river from Eagle Pass, Texas, to Piedras Negras. In response to the expected surge, Customs and Border Protection announced that they would be limiting vehicle processing at ports of entry in Arizona and Texas. In addition, CBP told Fox News that they would be temporarily suspending vehicle processing at the Eagle Pass International Bridge in order to allow more border agents to patrol and process the wave of migrants expected to cross into the Lone Star State.

Eagle Pass, located roughly 150 miles west of San Antonio, has been a hotspot for cartels to funnel migrants into the country. The influx of migrants to the small border town first caught the nation's attention when over 15,000 Haitian migrants crossed the Rio Grande. These same numbers have repeated in recent months, with Fox's Bill Melugin reporting in September, "It's a total free for all in Eagle Pass right now. Mass illegal crossing takes place for over an hour and a half. Almost 2 years to the day we saw 15,000+ Haitians under the bridge in Del Rio, we now have thousands of predominantly Venezuelans gathering under Eagle Pass bridge."

As migrants are expected to overwhelm border agents at Eagle Pass this week, processing centers are already at their maximum after the Tuscon sector saw over 2,800 illegal migrants cross into the United States on Monday. According to Melugin, "Agents there are completely overrun. CBP is pulling personnel from local ports of entry to help, BP there is pausing their social media, & multiple BP highway checkpoints are closed - which are crucial to catch fentanyl smugglers who make it past the ports of entry."

As the southern border continues to remain wide open and President Biden keeps the incentives for migration present, the crisis at the border will only persist. Despite the fact that Democrats like NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) have called for federal action, the 81-year-old Democrat has refused to act. A nation without a border is a nation without an identity. Once Biden is defeated in 2024, the next Republican president must prioritize the security of the southern border.
