WATCH: MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Has Meltdown Over Trump, Doubles Down On 'Bloodbath' Hoax - 'We Are Not Stupid'

On Monday morning, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough doubled down on the mainstream media narrative that presumptive GOP nominee and 45th President Donald Trump called for a bloodbath if he wasn't elected in November. Trump made the comment during a rally on Saturday in Dayton, Ohio, where he was explaining to the audience that if he wasn't able to stop China and Mexico from flooding the American auto market, then US automakers would suffer a market "bloodbath" as a result. His comments, however, were quickly taken out of context with a nine-second clip and subsequently used against him by the mainstream media and Democrats.

"He's talking about a bloodbath for America. It's laid out in the terms of it. These idiots on Twitter, these idiots on, on, on, on cable news, these idiots on Sunday shows, 'You know he was talking only about the auto industry.' It's just bullsh*t. Let me say that at 6:15 AM. It's just bullsh*t. He knew what he was doing. We are not stupid. Americans aren't stupid. He was talking about a bloodbath. Sometimes, a bloodbath means a bloodbath. And when he finishes by saying, and that's just going to be the least of it. Seriously, these people may be stupid. We are not."

The media's deliberate deception shows their true allegiances and proves that they would rather deceive the American public than report the truth. These deceptive practices have caused trust in the media to fall tremendously, with only 32 percent of Americans saying they have a "great deal" of trust in the media, according to Gallup. The media showed their true colors over the weekend, and Scarborough doubling down is an insult to the American public who aren't "stupid" and who refuse to fall for the "bullsh*t" of the mainstream press.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to slam the "Fake News Media" for their behavior, writing, "The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH, even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "The United Auto Workers, but not their leadership, fully understand what I mean. With the Electric Car Mandate being pushed by Biden, there soon won't be any cars made in the USA - UNLESS I'M ELECTED PRESIDENT, IN WHICH CASE AUTO MANUFACTURING WILL THRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!! MAGA2024."

Despite the clip being debunked multiple times, that didn't stop top Democrats from running with the out-of-context clip. President Joe Biden wrote on Sunday, "It's clear this guy wants another January 6. But the American people are going to give him another resounding electoral defeat this November." Trump's former opponent Hillary Clinton, who clearly hasn't gotten over her loss in 2016, wrote, "'A bloodbath. What would you say if you saw this in another country?"
