WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Gets In A Shouting Match With Protesters In Resurfaced Clip - 'Go Back To China!'

On Monday, a clip of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spread online, showing the elderly Democrat telling protesters calling for a ceasefire in Gaza to "go back to China."

The video, which is from October 2023 following the October 7 attack in Israel, begins with Pelosi being escorted by staff into a black SUV outside of her home in the San Francisco area as various demonstrators with the feminist anti-war group Code Pink shouted, "We know it was an inside job," "stop the genocide, stop the holocaust," and "Democrats want the ceasefire." In response to these demands, Pelosi said, "Get out of my way! Go back to China, where your headquarters is!"

The resurfacing of the 83-year-old Democrat's outburst comes a day after she linked pro-Palestine protesters to Russia, telling CNN's Dana Bash, "But for them to call for a ceasefire is Mr. Putin's message, Mr. Putin's message. Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It's about Putin's message. I think some of these — some of these protesters are spontaneous and organic and sincere. Some, I think, are connected to Russia. And I say that having looked at this for a long time now, as you know."

Following these comments, the CNN anchor questioned whether she thought some of the progressive demonstrators were "Russian plants," to which Pelosi argued that there could be possible funding that should be investigated. "I don't think they're plants," she said. "I think some financing should be investigated. And I want to ask the FBI to investigate that."

Bash also asked the former speaker about the Democratic Party's struggle with finding the correct balance in the Israel-Gaza conflict without alienating progressive voters. "Well, let me just say this, because I have been the recipient of their, shall we say, exuberances, and it's as recently as in Seattle on Thursday, unfortunately, wanted to disrupt our very exciting Democratic meeting there," Pelosi said in reference to a recent event that was interrupted by demonstrators, per The Hill.

"They're in front of my house all the time," she said, likely remembering the interaction seen in the resurfaced clip. "So I have a feeling for what feelings they have. But we have to think about what we're doing. And what we have to do is try to stop the suffering and gossip. This is women and children. People don't have a place to go. So let's address that."

President Biden's stance on the war in Gaza has isolated a significant segment of the Democrat voter base. Progressives have called for a ceasefire for months and have been seen attempting to storm the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., interrupting multiple Biden events and protesting outside Pelosi's home. If Democrats fail to deal with the infighting plaguing their party, Donald Trump could make a swift return to the White House.
