WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Heckled At Event, Called ‘War Criminal’, ‘Sad Old Drunk!’

On Monday, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) attended an event at The City University of New York’s Graduate Center alongside Paul Krugman in what was anticipated to be a lackluster speaking event for the California Democrat.

It was until multiple hecklers interrupted the event and called Pelosi a “war criminal”, a “sad old drunk”, and that she belongs in “the depths of hell.”

“You know Pelosi, that’s a very good place for you in the depths of hell,” yelled one of the heckler’s at Pelosi on stage, as reported by Breitbart. “For some reason, you have a very bad obsession of getting us into war. Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq?”

“You lied us into a war in Iraq. You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90 percent of those people are impoverished and are dying,” the heckler continued. “Why don’t you tell the truth about Nordstream?”

The heckler’s mention of the destruction of the Nordstream pipeline is in reference to a story published earlier this year by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh which claimed that the United States destroyed the critical infrastructure responsible for delivering natural gas from Russia to Germany, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.

“Why did we destroy Nordstream? You’re leaving millions of Germans without energy,” the heckler continued as he was carried away by security. “People like you should be arrested, you are a war criminal!”

“Hey congresswoman, I came to see a warmonger but you’re a sad old drunk!” another heckler screamed. “What happened? When you went to Taiwan, were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nordstream on accident or on purpose? Did you know about that? Aren’t you supposed to be a part of the indictment tomorrow? You’re a war criminal by definition, Ms. Pelosi. You got some nerve. Is that why you are here in Manhattan? Is that why you are here because you’re getting indicted tomorrow you goddamn war criminal?”

“You goddam war criminal! How many people have died in your fucking name? How many people have died because of Iraq? All of you forgot about Iraq? Iran? Libya, Syria?”

Another heckler attacked Pelosi’s handling of the financial crisis saying that Dodd-Frank didn’t work and that the economy is soon to fail.

It would appear that even in deep blue Manhattan, there are Democrats who are upset with Pelosi’s leadership.
