WATCH: Nikki Haley Gives A Helping Hand To Woke Disney, Fails To ‘Read The Room’ In Attempt To Swipe at DeSantis

In a Wednesday appearance on Fox News, GOP presidential primary contender, former UN Ambassador, and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, used a reported lawsuit from Disney against Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to swipe at her potential primary competitor and shockingly extend a hand to one of the most ‘woke’ corporations ever.

Astonishingly, Haley promoted the clip herself on her own Twitter account leaving many conservatives all at once angered and baffled at the misstep.

Haley wrote,

“Hey @Disney, my home state will happily accept your 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida. We’ve got great weather, great people, and it’s always a great day in South Carolina! SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either.”

In full context. answering the Fox News anchors question about DeSantis allegedly launching a campaign to “weaponize government power,” according to Disney, Haley answered:

“You know as Governor, I took a double-digit unemployment state and I turned it into an economic powerhouse. Businesses were my partners because if you take care of your businesses you take care of your economy. Your economy takes care of the people, and everyone wins. And so that’s the way we dealt with it.

We are… South Carolina was a very anti-woke state, it still is. And if Disney would like to move their hundreds of thousands of jobs to South Carolina and bring the billions of dollars with them I’ll let them know I’ll be happy to meet them in South Carolina and introduce them to the Governor and the Legislature that would welcome it.”

Citizen journalist Tracy Beanz lampooned the statement in a Twitter reply writing sarcastically, “‘We aren’t woke, but if you give us enough money, we will be’.”

YouTube host Nuance Bro added to the reply thread, “Americans are sick of their leaders selling out to corporate interests in exchange for everything they value like the safety and wellbeing of their children. You are a disgrace.”

Independent journalist Ian Miles Cheong observed, “This is terrible optics.”
