WATCH: Nikki Haley Sends Dire Warning About A Kamala Harris Presidency - 'We Can't Chance This'

On Sunday morning, 2024 Republican presidential candidate and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley joined Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business's 'Sunday Morning Futures' to discuss her debate performance and the prospect of a Kamala Harris presidential run.

When asked about whether she would drop out to support President Trump, as proposed by Kari Lake, Haley declined and argued that America needs a new generation of leaders, as reported by Fox News.

Haley also touched on her abortion position which put her at odds with former Vice President Mike Pence on the debate stage on Wednesday. Haley doubled down on her position, arguing that the GOP needs to be honest with the American people about the prospects of banning abortion. She explained that Republicans simply do not have the votes nor the American people's support for a full ban on the practice and that a consensus position would do Republicans good.

The conversation then turned to the ongoing campaign and how she plans to win the nomination. Haley began by explaining that the campaign was just getting started with the debate last week and that she would be traveling through the early states as much as possible to reach voters.

"Donald Trump is a friend of mine," she said about the 45th president. "It was an honor to serve in the administration and work on foreign policy with him, and I agree with a lot of his policies. But the fact is, I don't know if it's four or five or six or how many indictments it is now, but he's going to spend a lot of time in a courtroom and not on a campaign trail."

"My concern is we cannot have Kamala Harris as president," Haley said. "We can't chance this. We have to make sure that we have a new generational leader that's going to bring in not only Republicans, but we're going to pull back the independents. We're going to bring back in the suburban women, we're going to bring in Hispanics. We're going to bring in the Asian community. We have to make sure we win this, because the thought of Kamala Harris being president should send a chill up every American spine."

The former South Carolina governor currently sits in fourth place in the Republican primary at five percent, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average. Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy is in third place with 7.5 percent support, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) holds 13 percent support, and Donald Trump remains the clear frontrunner with 53 percent of Republican voters supporting his candidacy.
