In a new campaign policy video released Thursday, 45th President and leading 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump vowed to restore the politicized American justice system and crack down on George Soros-funded district attorneys that pursue their own interests rather than the law.
“There is no more dire threat to the American way of life than the corruption and weaponization of our justice system. And it’s happening all around us,” Trump began in the “Agenda 47” video.
“If we cannot restore the fair and impartial rule of law, we will not be a free country. As president, it will be my personal mission to restore the scales of justice in America. We want fairness and equality under the law. And to that end, I will appoint US attorneys who will be the polar opposite of the Soros district attorneys and others that are being appointed throughout the United States. Very unfair to our population, very unfair to our country.”
Trump then announced that he would appoint 100 skilled attorneys to combat “crime and communist corruption.”
“As we completely overhaul the Federal Department of Justice and FBI, we will also launch sweeping civil rights investigations into Marxist local district attorneys,” he continued. “And that’s what we have, they’re Marxist in many cases. By refusing to charge countless crimes, the Soros prosecutors appear to be engaging in selective enforcement based on illegal radical discrimination.”
Trump then went on to explain that in areas where Soros-funded DAs have been elected, such as San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Austin, under his leadership his DOJ would subpoena “their staff, their emails, and their records to determine whether they have blatantly violated federal civil rights law.”
Trump then took aim at Austin District Attorney Jose Garza who charged Sgt. Daniel Perry for murder after he protested himself in what was deemed to be a justified shooting by the Austin Police Department.
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) is currently working on pardoning Perry given the miscarriage of justice by Garza. Trump explained that in a second term he would establish a task force to protest the right to self defense to prevent such prosecutions.
“In addition, we will have a complete investigation into the use of police state tactics by federal authorities to arrest conservatives and Christians,” Trump explained. “We will find out who ordered it and we will hold them totally accountable.”
“There is much more that we must to, we have to confront this radicalized law in schools,” he continued, adding, “we have to reform the far-left bar associations and stop the purge of conservative lawyers from major law firms.”
“I will do whatever it takes to save our legal system, among the greatest achievements of Western civilization, from the Marxist barbarians who seek to destroy it, and we will do that we will save it,” the 45th president concluded.
It seems like once again President Trump is putting forth sound policy to combat the various issues facing America. These videos craft a roadmap for his second term and are an important insight to what the leading Republican candidate is prioritizing.
