On Wednesday, Project Veritas, the investigative journalism organization originally founded by James O’Keefe, published a new publication on Twitter that showed the extent to which medical gender transitioning is pushed on young people.
The video highlights a multi-state investigation into WPATH (World Professional Association For Transgender Health) that followed the story of Prisha Mosley who was put on testosterone and was later given a double mastectomy as a young person.
“Multi-State Investigation EXPOSES [WPATH] Connected Transgender ‘Health’ Doctors Prescribing Puberty Blockers to Minors as Young as Eight Years Old and Irreversible ‘Cross-Gender Hormones’ to Minors as Young as 14 Years Old,” Project Veritas wrote on Twitter.
“Most kids are mature enough to make a relatively informed decision,” one person in the video says.
“We do have patients who are starting [transition] as young as eight,” another says.
“Cross-gender hormones… have some permanent effects…I need the patient to be a little — to be mature enough to make a relatively informed decision…I get it… there are some 14-year-olds that are not, you know, mature — but generally speaking, they usually are pretty good,” said another individual who was recorded.
Project Veritas went undercover to investigate the St. Mark’s Place Institute for Health in New York City, specifically Dr. Matthew Pabis.
In the video, Dr. Pabis admits that he performs transgender surgery on teenagers as young as 15-years-old. He also seemed to be open to a ten-year-old could begin the transition process with puberty blockers.
The investigators then went to Callen-Lorde which is on the forefront of gender transitioning children. The specialist at the clinic explained that they didn’t know why they didn’t do people younger than 13, however, the specialist recommended the Mount Sinai Adolescent Clinic which begins care as young as 10.
At the Mount Sinai clinic, the Project Veritas team spoke with Dr. John Steever who said that he would be willing to put a 10-year-old on puberty blockers for three to four years. He then said that a 14-year-old is old enough to make a informed decision.
Project Veritas then interviewed Dr. Quentin Van Meter, a pediatric doctor, who explained the impact of puberty blockers and its dangers to the development of children.
The group also went undercover in clinics across the country with one clinic in Austin, Texas saying that children as young as eight or nine had begun hormones.
