WATCH: Taliban Parade US Military Vehicles Left In Afghanistan By Biden-Harris Admin Three Years After Withdrawal

On Wednesday, the Taliban celebrated three years of rule over the country of Afghanistan after the United States under the Biden-Harris administration withdrew from the country after 20 years of combat operations and nation-building. The parade, which occurred at the former US air base at Bagram, included the use of helicopters, heavily armored vehicles, humvees, and various other equipment left behind in the country by the American military.

The Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir said in a speech, per the Associated Press, that "the Islamic Emirate eliminated internal differences and expanded the scope of unity and cooperation in the country. No one will be allowed to interfere in internal affairs, and Afghan soil will not be used against any country."

According to a Pentagon report after the withdrawal, the military left behind $7 billion worth of equipment after the costly pullout from the country that led to the deaths of 13 service members at Abbey Gate. A large amount of that equipment has been smuggled to various conflict zones across the globe, including in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, and other combat zones.

The Department of Defense report lays out that the military left behind 78 aircraft, 9,524 air-to-ground munitions, over 40,000 vehicles including 12,000 Humvees, over 300,000 weapons, 42,000 pieces of specialized equipment like night vision or surveillance equipment, nearly 17,000 explosives, and 1.5 million rounds of ammunition.

The parade is a stark reminder of the failure of the Biden-Harris administration, a fact that conservative commentators online were not wary of pointing out. "This is an image that should make every American so angry they can't even talk," Greg Price wrote about the Taliban parade. "The Taliban parading at Bagram Air Force Base, which Biden stupidly abandoned in favor of conducting the evacuation in the crowded city of Kabul. With the billions in American military equipment that was left behind because Biden gave them a completely arbitrary withdrawal deadline. Kamala was the 'last person in the room' making the decisions that led to this. Now she wants to be Commander-in-Chief."

"This is disgusting," wrote Graham Allen. "The Taliban held a MILITARY PARADE with the equipment that the UNITED STATES left during the horrific withdrawal from Afghanistan."

The costly withdrawal from Afghanistan was one of the most consequential foreign policy disasters in modern American history. The Biden-Harris decision to make a rushed withdrawal from the country showed weakness to America's enemies and likely motivated Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine in February 2022. The American people should remember the images of Afghans hanging off C-130s as they left Bagram and not forget the 13 service members who gave their lives during the exit from the country.
