WATCH: Trump Makes Heart-Warming Visit To New York Firefighters - 'Sir, Save Us Please'

Following an eventful day in court, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump decided to once again hit the campaign trail in the city that was once his home for decades. At around 5 PM, the real estate mogul visited the brave men and women at FDNY's Engine Co. 8, Ladder Co. 2 in Midtown with multiple boxes of pizza in hand. Trump visited the same firehouse back in 2021 for the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

During his visit, Trump was met with cheers from station members as he took the time to shake hands and speak with the firefighters. "Sir, save us, please," one firefighter told Trump as they shook hands. The presumptive GOP nominee then posed for photos, signed a daybook and hats, and chatted with the men during the brief campaign stop.

Trump also visited a plaque honoring a Green Beret who was awarded the Medal of Honor during his presidency. "You guys are so respected, you don't even know," Trump said while examining the plaque.

As Trump continues to be bogged down in the courtroom in recent weeks, he hasn't allowed that to stop him from reaching out to the American people. The FDNY campaign stop is the third such event he's held in the Big Apple over the past month. Last month, Trump held an early morning meet-and-greet with members of the local Steamfitters union. The crowd, made up of scores of hard-working construction workers, welcomed Trump with chants of  "USA" and "We want Trump."

The campaign event with the union workers mirrored the New York native's visit to a bodega in mid-April in a predominantly Latino community. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump was welcomed to the Sanaa Convenient Store by dozens of fans and got the opportunity to meet with co-owner Maad Ahmed and small business activist Francisco Marte. The location is central to one of Trump's key campaign pillars: law and order. The bodega was the sight of a brutal assault of 61-year-old store clerk Jose Alba, who ended up killing his attacker, ex-convict Austin Simon, in self-defense. The district attorney's office brought charges against Alba following the incident, but after immense public backlash, the charges were dropped, and the assaulted store clerk sued the city.

Despite left-wing prosecutors' attempts to keep him off the campaign trail, Trump is still finding ways to invigorate his campaign as he advocates for a return to the America First policies that allowed America to flourish under his first term.
