WATCH: Trump Says Biden's Open Border Policies Is 'Flat-Out Economic Warfare' Against Americans

On Thursday evening, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump traveled to Phoenix, Arizona, to speak to thousands of his supporters who came out for Turning Point USA's 'Chase The Vote' rally. During the event, Trump told the audience that President Joe Biden's radical open border policies have been "flat-out economic warfare" against the American people.

"The Biden Border Invasion is also an all-out war on the working-class minorities of our country—and it is flat-out economic warfare on African American and Hispanic American families and unions!" Trump said on Thursday evening. "These people are taking the jobs of African Americans. They are taking the jobs of Hispanic Americans, and they are tremendously affected. And you know who else is affected? It's unions. Unions are being absolutely slaughtered, and people are coming in and taking those union jobs."

"The Biden Invasion is no accident — it is a deliberate demolition of our sovereignty and our borders," Trump added. "Simultaneously, illegal immigration is causing rent and housing costs to skyrocket because we have 15 million new migrants and no place to put them. In everything he does, Joe Biden puts illegal aliens first, he puts the cartels first, he puts the open borders lunatics first—while he betrays American citizens.  As your president, I will put African Americans First, Hispanic Americans First, and I will put all Americans First. My loyalty is to you, the American people."

The presumptive GOP nominee also slammed Biden for reversing his border policies despite the extensive and heated negotiations that took place between himself and the Mexican president. "He knowingly ripped up the Remain in Mexico policy, which was not easy to get," Trump said. "He terminated my safeguard agreements. Big deal. The safe third is a big deal. He rescinded title 42. He threw open the gates to millions of fighting-age males from all over the planet. You saw that 29,000 people from China. Everyone looks like he's ready for the military. It's like I said, are we crazy or what? What the hell are we doing to our country?"

Trump's rally in Arizona is meant to energize his base given that the swing state, which Biden narrowly won in 2020, is essential to getting Trump over the finish line in November and back into the White House. According to Five Thirty Eight's polling average, Trump currently holds a 4.5 percent lead over Biden with 42.9 percent support compared to the incumbent's 38.4 percent and independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s 8.8 percent.
