WATCH: Trump Welcomes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu After Frosty Reception From Kamala Harris

On Friday morning, 45th President Donald Trump welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, following the Israeli leader's frosty reception in Washington, D.C., by congressional Democrats and Vice President Kamala Harris.

The highly-anticipated meeting featured an exchange of gifts between the two men, with Netanhayu gifting Trump a copy of his memoir "Bibi" and a blue hat that read "Total Victory." Netanyahu also reportedly asked Trump about his wound after his attempted assassination earlier this month, prompting the 45th president to show the prime minister where he was shot.

The Trump campaign put out a statement earlier this week that emphasized the historic partnership that Trump crafted with Israel during his administration. "Looking forward to welcoming Bibi Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. During my first term, we had Peace and Stability in the Region, even signing the historic Abraham Accords - And we will have it again. Just as I have said in discussions with President Zelensky and other World Leaders in recent weeks, my PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH Agenda will demonstrate to the World that these horrible, deadly Wars, and violent Conflicts must end. Millions are dying, and Kamala Harris is in no way capable of stopping it."

The meeting between the two men, which likely focused on the ongoing war in Gaza and Iran's proxy groups in the Middle East, comes after Vice President Kamala Harris and many other congressional Democrats boycotted Netanyahu's address to a joint session of Congress. Progressive activists protesting the address were seen burning the American flag, carrying Hamas flags, and shouting anti-Semitic chants throughout the day.

On Thursday, Netanyahu met for three hours with President Biden to discuss the Gaza war and the Israeli and American hostages still being held by the terrorist group Hamas. Presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris then met with Netanyahu for a 40-minute meeting. Following the meeting, Harris delivered a public statement that has reportedly irked the Israeli leader.

"It is time for this war to end in a way where Israel is secure, all the hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza ends and the Palestinian people can exercise their right to freedom, dignity and self determination," Harris told the press. "And as I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu, it is time to get this deal done. Let's get the deal done. So we can get a ceasefire to end the war. Let's bring the hostages home. And let's provide much-needed relief to the Palestinian people."

The difference between Netanyahu's visit to Mar-a-Lago and his visit to Washington, D.C., is stark and highlights the increasing radicalism of the progressive left. Many on the far left would rather demand that Hamas, a terrorist group that killed over 1,000 Israelis on October 7, remain intact instead of being swiftly dealt with. President Trump understands the stakes of the current war in Gaza for the Israeli people, and as a staunch ally of the only democracy in the Middle East, he is willing to stand with him against Hamas and those in the West who support them.
