WATCH: Tucker Carlson Blasts Fox News’s Streaming Platform In New Behind The Scenes Clip – ‘I Resent It’

On Monday, a behind-the-scenes video appeared online showing former Fox News host Tucker Carlson slamming his former employer’s streaming platform Fox Nation.

In the clip, Carlson can be seen speaking on the phone to discuss an upcoming interview while on the set of ‘Tucker Carlson Today’ which was the show that exclusively aired on Fox’s streaming platform.

“I don’t want to be a slave to Fox Nation which I don’t think many people watch anyway,” Carlson said. “Because I’m like a representative of the American media now speaking to an exile in Romania and welcoming him back into the brotherhood of journalists.”

The person on the phone then explained that the interviewee would like the interview to be more casual and that he doesn’t plan on wearing a suit. A clearly frustrated Carlson then explained that he wants it to “look official” and not like “bro talk” since a segment of it will be appearing on his normal 8 pm primetime slot.

The man on the phone then said that the entirety of the clip will be featured on Fox Nation to which Carlson responded, “But nobody is going to watch it on Fox Nation. Nobody watches Fox Nation because the site sucks so I’d really like to just dump the whole thing on YouTube.”

“I’m just frustrated. It’s hard to use that site. I don’t know why they’re not fixing it. They’re making like lifetime movies but they don’t work on the infrastructure of the site,” the former Fox News host lamented. “Like what? It’s crazy and it drives me crazy because we’re doing all this extra work and no one can find it. It’s unbelievable actually. I don’t know who runs that site.”

“We’re doing our part. We are working like animals to produce all this content and the people in charge of it…they’re ignoring the fact that the site doesn’t work. I feel like it’s a betrayal of our efforts. That’s how I feel so of course I resent it.”

This new clip, which was obtained by the left-leaning fact-checking outlet Media Matters, appears to be an attempt to smear Carlson by his former network. That effort, however, seems to fall on deaf ears given the reasonableness of Carlson’s concerns.

“Fox is now leaking footage to Media Matters,” wrote The Daily Wire‘s Matt Walsh. “Meanwhile the scandalous footage is just Tucker making reasonable criticisms of Fox’s shitty streaming service.”

It is clear that Carlson had the best interest of his viewers at heart who wanted to see his exclusive content, but the network was failing him. This clip once again shows that the former host cared more about his viewers’ experience than his bosses.
