On Tuesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre adamantly declined to comment about the recent Special Counsel John Durham report that showed the unjust investigation into potential collusion between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia.
The 300-page report contains damning evidence against the FBI and the Department of Defense under the Obama administration, of whom current President Joe Biden served as vice president, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.
RealClearNews reported Philip Wegmann was the only reporter to question Jean-Pierre on the Durham report, asking, “What is the White House reaction to the special counsel report on how the FBI handled the Trump-Russia probe?”
Jean-Pierre was quick to shut down the line of questioning, responding with a brisk “I would leave it to the Department of Justice to speak to that.”
Wegmann was not satisfied with the answerless response, pressing further on the issue, inquiring, “The president talks often about how he wants the DOJ and FBI to remain independent and above the fray. That report seems to reflect the opposite. Does he agree with Special Counsel Durham that there needs to be wholesale changes at the FBI?”
Jean-Pierre once again worked to close the line of questioning, stating, “Again, that is with the Department of Justice. That’s not something that I’m going to speak from the podium. As you just stated in your question, we believe in an independent Department of Justice. That’s what the president said when he was running and that’s what the president has said for the last two years.”
Jean-Pierre finished with, “Thank you so much. I’ll see you guys in Japan,” before quickly leaving the podium, answering no more questions.
As reported by Fox News, Jean-Pierre has had a history of peddling the Trump-Russia collusion theory. The White House press secretary has tweeted many times in support of the theory.Reporter: "Any reaction to the Durham Report?"

The White House must possess a new opinion on the Department of Justice, as things cannot remain as they are. The Durham report has proven that the DOJ doesn’t properly function as a separate entity as the Biden admin has claimed to be in favor of but instead has colluded with the Democrat Party to attempt to undermine American democracy. It’s no surprise KJP fled the podium… she is guilty of pushing the “Russia, Russia, Russia” nonsense. https://t.co/Mc6XgpKVpq pic.twitter.com/XhgaLgdJqG

Biden’s response to the Durham report will tell Americans everything they need to know about his involvement in Operation ‘Crossfire Hurricane.’ Obama has claimed to have known nothing, but it’s very unlikely that he, nor now President Joe Biden, were unaware of the inner workings of the FBI.
