Were They A Threat? Biden White House Releases Update About UFOs Shot Down Over Canada, Alaska

In a Tuesday press briefing, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told the American people that the U.S. intelligence community now considers the three unidentified flying objects shot down on the order of President Joe Biden over Deadhorse, Alaska; Yukon, Canada; and Lake Huron, to be “used for commercial or benign purposes.”

Kirby explained that this determination was made based on images of the objects and is a preliminary one pending recovery of debris, according to NBC News.

“One thing we have to consider, and we believe the intelligence community is considering as an explanation, is that these could be balloons tied to commercial or research entities and therefore totally benign,” Kirby said.

The spokesman added, “I want to caveat that we haven’t found the debris. We’re still doing the best we can with the observations that were made by the pilots, with the flight profile data that we’ve tried to collect.”

Almost immediately a torrent of severe criticism began to flow toward the White House, adding to renewed doubts about Biden’s capacity to lead the nation.

As Streiff writing for RedState, who is experienced as a former U.S. Army infantry officer, CGSC grad, and Army Operations Center alum, wrote:

“‘Totally benign,’ but with $1.7 million of Sidewinder missiles stuck up their nether regions.”

He added, “In all seriousness, it is obvious that NORAD is a seething, effervescent puddle of failure and incompetence. Shortly after the actual Chinese spy balloon was shot down, NORTHCOM/NORAD commander General Glen VanHerck had this to offer, ‘I will tell you we did not detect those threats [the previous alleged Chinese violations of US airspace] and that’s a domain awareness gap we have to figure out.'”

Streiff’s assertions would seem to hold at first look, with Fox News reporting that not only were the three ‘benign’ objects shot down evidently without Biden being fully aware of what the Air Force was shooting at but compounded by the fact that the first missile fired at the object over Lake Huron missed, according to Fox News.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley told a press conference that the missile “landed harmlessly in the water of Lake Huron,” he further explained that no wreckage has been recovered citing “rocky terrain” and “other difficult conditions.”

“Two, three, and four are not yet recovered. They are in very difficult terrain,” Milley said, according to NBC News. “The second one off the coast of Alaska, that’s in some really, really difficult terrain in the Arctic Circle, with very, very low temperatures in the minus 40s. The second one is in the Canadian Rockies and the Yukon — very difficult to get that one — and the third one is in Lake Huron, probably a couple hundred feet depth, so we’ll get them eventually, but it’s going to take some time to recover those.”

John Nolte writing for Breitbart was incredulous. He observed, “Biden shot this down before knowing what it was? This is insanity. When has this ever happened? When has a U.S. president gone on a shooting spree over American air space not knowing what he was shooting at?”

In the aftermath of the debacle and following several instances of Biden answering media questions regarding the shoot-downs in disturbingly vacant fashion, many posting to Twitter have resumed calls for Biden to be removed from office under the 25th Amendment.

Republican presidential hopeful and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has recently called for Biden’s mental competency to be assessed, as reported by The Hill.  In late January, liberal radio show host Charlamagne tha God and co-host DJ Envy suggested that Biden has dementia, and “rattled off a list of reasons why they feel Biden is losing his grip on reality,” according to The New York Post.

Under former President Donald Trump, the 25th Amendment was threatened groundlessly, repeatedly, and with impunity by Democrat lawmakers and punditry alike. But even with Biden viewed widely in polls as unfit to lead the nation it seems unlikely any of his party will challenge him.
