Zelensky Admits He's Fearful Of Trump Being Elected, Begs For Billions More In Arms

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he is terrified of former President Donald Trump returning to the Oval Office in 2024 as opposed to current President Joe Biden, saying that the European leader is concerned that Trump won’t continue to waste billions of dollars on the war against Russia. 

The Ukrainian head of state spoke with the Wall Street Journal and openly expressed his fears of the New York City businessman returning to the post of Commander-in-Chief. Zelensky said he was unsure of how Trump would have reacted to Russia's invasion were he the president during the start of the war. Of course, the Ukrainian leader praised the Biden administration for regularly sending billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine in the form of weapons.

Zelensky also made it clear that he was far more comfortable working with the Biden administration than the Trump administration, claiming that if Trump were to return to the position, the war effort could become more difficult. 

“President Biden is the president during a full-scale war and he has been more helpful to us than President Trump,” said the Eastern European leader in the interview, explaining that there hadn’t yet been a full-scale war when Trump was in office. 

“In a situation like this, when there is support, you are afraid of changes,” Zelensky said. “And to be honest, when you mention a change of administration, I feel the same way as anyone… You want changes for the better, but it can also be the other way around.”

Unsurprisingly, he also took the interview as a chance to beg the United States and Joe Biden for even more military support and money, saying that he would need “50 Patriots” to continue to protect Ukraine from Russian air attacks. 

“There’s currently one weapon capable of stopping some types of missiles launched by the Russian Federation against our civilian population, schools, infrastructure, and energy system,” the Ukrainian leader claimed. “The only system in the world is the Patriot.”

It’s not so much that the leader is scared of Trump specifically, but just anyone who has the brain enough to see the blatant mess that has been taking place in Ukraine. 

The Eastern European leader even noted that Trump had “no full-scale war” during his time in office and it’s clear why. Donald Trump has enough of a spine to properly stand up against foreign nations, unlike the cowardly Biden administration.
