BREAKING: Fox News Makes Decision On Final Replacement For Tucker Carlson, Report Claims

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Fox News will announce a new lineup for its prime-time shows after former host Tucker Carlson was removed from the network last month.

As reported by The Daily Wire, Sean Hannity will be taking over Carlson's 8 pm slot while Jesse Watters will fill in for Hannity's 9 pm show.

Greg Gutfeld, who already hosts 'Gutfeld!' and 'The Five', will also get his own show on primetime.

“Fox News is preparing to announce an ambitious new schedule, a schedule where every hour of primetime will change,” a report obtained by The Drudge Report read. “It’s our boldest and most fearless line-up ever."

The new lineup by Fox comes after the network has seen distressingly low ratings both in total audience and in the all-important demographic of 25-54.

Making matters worse for Fox, Tucker Carlson announced an exclusive show that will appear on Twitter in the coming weeks.

The tweet, which had the word “We’re back,” featured a video where Carlson ripped into the media's tendency to lie to you through the withholding of facts with the intent to manipulate you. Tucker provided examples of these manipulations put forth by the media.

Carlson then discussed the experience of working in the news industry and the limitations that are put on the ability to tell the full truth in the news. Carlson noted that “you know when you bump into those limits often enough, you will be fired for it,” speaking from his recent personal experience in his firing.

Carlson then goes on to explain how there are no longer many news platforms that allow true freedom of speech, with most restricting the right. Tucker highlights how the last major platform that allows free speech is the very one he released his video on, Twitter.

After discussing how news outlets manipulate Twitter discussion, Carlson explained that he wanted his audience to get information straight from him. Tucker followed with an announcement that he will be bringing his show onto the platform, informing viewers he’ll “See you soon.”

It's clear that Fox's restructuring is an attempt to recover the audience they have lost when Carlson was forced out. Only time will tell if it wil yield the results that the network needs to stay afloat.
