WATCH: Ana Navarro Makes Bizarre Claim On 'The View' Following Texas Mall Shooting, Says You Don't Need To Be White To Be A White Supremacist

On Monday, Ana Navarro, co-host of 'The View', made a now widely criticized comment that being Hispanic or Black does not make a person “immune” from supporting White supremacy when discussing the recent shooting in Allen, Texas.

The Texas shooter, identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, conducted the violent shooting Saturday leaving eight dead along with many other innocents injured. Investigations are still being conducted on Garcia, but an anonymous law enforcement source claimed that federal officials are investigating whether Garcia was motivated by White supremacy or not, per the Washington Post

The authorities have not released a motive yet, but there was a patch on the shooter's chest that read 'RWDS', an acronym that stands for Right Wing Death Squad.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, those who were murdered on Saturday were identified by police as Kyu Song Cho, 37, of Dallas; Cindy Cho, 35, of Dallas; Christian LaCour, 20, of Nevada, Texas; Elio Cumana-Rivas, 32, of Dallas; and Aishwarya Thatikonda, 26, of McKinney, Texas.

'The View' co-host made her claim Monday, saying, “We all have to remember that the head of the Proud Boys. His name is Enrique Tarrio. The Proud Boys is a White Nationalist group. Look, being Hispanic or Black does not, or being anything does not make you immune from being racist, from being radicalized, from being a White supremacist, from being evil, from being homicidal. And we are seeing it over and over again. There are people who, they don’t see themselves as what they are."

Nevarro's fellow hosts were surprised by the claim, with co-host Sunny Hostin remarking that the allegation was “bizarre” to her. Hostin still emphasized the importance of the threat that White supremacy poses to American democracy.  These claims of White supremacy applying to non-White citizens from radical progressives are nothing new. ESPN host Jemele Hill argued that the five Black police officers who beat Tyre Nichols were motivated by White supremacy, per Fox News

Radicals have also attempted to claim that Black Republicans follow ideas of White supremacy. 'The View' was previously in hot water after Hostin called Black Republicans an “oxymoron” and attacked presidential candidate Nikki Haley for not using her real name, claiming that she was a “chameleon.”

Whoopi Goldberg claimed in January of 2022 that the Holocaust was “not about race” which led to her receiving a one-week suspension from the show.

The claims from Navarro just go to show how far these people are willing to go to push an agenda. They will latch onto a tragedy such as the shooting in Texas and attempt to spew hate and vitriol against any person and idea they find themselves disliking. It’s nearly impossible to take anything the hosts say seriously with the completely idiotic takes they constantly put forth on the show.

The members of the media, and much of the Hollywood elite, are simply disconnected from reality and believe everything they say is right without any thought put behind it. Something is clearly festering within the established media that needs to be changed, and soon.
