Biden Campaign Goes Berserk Over SCOTUS Ruling Trump Has Immunity: We Will Reject Trump 'For Good In November'

On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that 45th President Donald Trump has some immunity from prosecution in his federal election case in a legendary and historic 6-3 decision. The ruling is a massive blow to special counsel Jack Smith's prosecution, causing a further delay in his case against Trump. "Under our system of separated powers, the President may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for his official acts. That immunity applies equally to all occupants of the Oval Office," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the majority's opinion.

In a post on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote, "BIG WIN FOR OUR CONSTITUTION AND DEMOCRACY. PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!" "Solid SCOTUS ruling today. I'm sure the corrupt prosecutors and DC judge will work overtime to continue their lawfare. It's all they have left," Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., wrote on Truth Social. The Biden-Harris campaign released a statement on the ruling on X, writing, "Today's ruling doesn't change the facts, so let's be very clear about what happened on January 6: Donald Trump snapped after he lost the 2020 election and encouraged a mob to overthrow the results of a free and fair election. Trump is already running for president as a convicted felon for the very same reason he sat idly by while the mob violently attacked the Capitol: he thinks he's above the law and is willing to do anything to gain and hold onto power for himself."

"Since January 6, Trump has only grown more unhinged. He's promising to be a dictator 'on day one,' calling for our Constitution to be 'terminated' so he can regain power, and promising a 'bloodbath' if he loses. The American people already rejected Donald Trump's self-obsessed quest for power once - Joe Biden will make sure they reject it for good in November," the Biden campaign added. The Biden campaign has been in shambles after the CNN debate between 45th President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden. A flash CNN poll following the historic debate showed President Trump crushing Biden with a massive landslide of 67 percent and a minor 33 percent for Biden.

Biden's debate performance was so poor that several MSNBC hosts on Thursday night said that Democrat insiders are "panicked" and are discussing replacing Joe Biden with another Democrat candidate. "I was on the phones for some of it after that became clear, and there is a conversation happening inside Biden's circle, and certainly a much more frank conversation happening inside the Democratic coalition, and I think there will be stories of a lot of concern about the performance tonight," MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said.

"I, too, was on the phone throughout much of the debate with Obama world people, with Democrats, with people who are political operatives, with campaign operatives. My phone really never stopped buzzing throughout, and the universal reaction was somewhere approaching panic. The people who were texting with me were very concerned about President Biden seeming extremely feeble, seeming extremely weak, and I'll just reiterate what I said earlier. President Biden had one job tonight, one primary job, and yes, it was to litigate Donald Trump's criminality and all of those things, but he had to settle his own party. He needed to settle Democrats," MSNBC host Joy Reid said.
