Our Border is one of our most prized assets. — it keeps our country safe. Unfortunately for America, only one party truly cares about the Southern Border — the Party of Lincoln. As a result, Border Patrol agents and border towns are feeling the pressure caused by President Joe Biden’s open border agenda.
Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said in a deposition obtained by Fox News Digital that Biden’s policies are ineffective at protecting our Southern Border: “In my experience, we have seen increases when there are no consequences”
“There is an assumption that if migrant populations are told that there is a potential that they may be released, that, yes, you can see increases.”
This is just plain common sense. If you stop penalizing a crime, you should not be surprised to see more people committing that crime than usual. That holds true in the inner cities as well as our Southern Border.
Ortiz also claims Border crossings are up significantly in the last year — which is borne out by the data. Our Border is not protected in the slightest.
As Fox News reports:
MAJOR WIN FOR REPUBLICANS AS HISPANICS FLOCK TO THE GOP IN KEY MIAMI-DADE
“During the deposition, Ortiz went on to testify that the southern border is currently in crisis and replied ‘yes’ when asked if the border is ‘less safe for Americans and aliens alike.’
Ortiz said he agreed with a statement by the plaintiff attorney that ‘unprecedented numbers’ of migrants have illegally entered the U.S. this year. There have so far been more than 2 million migrant encounters with Border Patrol this fiscal year, already surpassing the historic 1.7 million encountered last fiscal year.”
This news is frightening. While Trump protected that which was sacred, Biden encourages lawlessness. It has often been repeated that Republicans are the party of law and order. Well, that certainly holds true on this issue.
Until President Biden is not in power, the American people will have to deal with these travesties. The only way to minimize the damage is to vote red in November — our nation depends on it.
