BREAKING: DOJ Announces Charges Against Two Americans, Dozens of Chinese Operating Secret Chinese Government Police Station In Manhattan

On Monday afternoon, the Department of Justice announced charges against 30 officers of China’s national police force and two New York residents who were operating an “undeclared Chinese government police station” in Chinatown in New York City.

“This afternoon, Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for national security David Newman, U.S. Attorney Breon Peace for the Eastern District of New York, Assistant Director in Charge Michael J. Driscoll of the FBI New York Field Office, and Assistant Director in Charge David Sundberg of the FBI Washington Field Office will host a press conference to announce arrests and charges in a significant national security matter,” the DOJ announced in a press release.

During the press conference, the DOJ officials explained that the Chinese operatives engaged in “engaging in transnational oppressions” against members of the Chinese diaspora community.

The operatives set up a police station in the Big Apple in an office building that held an undeclared, secret police station.

The officials explained that the police station was doing at least some government services like assisting with a Chinese driver’s license. However, the station was also responsible for more heinous crimes.

The DOJ official explained that the operatives directed an American citizen to locate a pro-democracy activist of Chinese descent in California. “In other words, the Chinese National Police appeared to be using this station to track a U.S. resident on U.S. soil.”

The officials then explained that the defendants destroyed evidence upon realizing that the FBI was investigating them.

Once again the Chinese government showcases its blatant disrespect for American sovereignty. Their boldness proves that they believe that the United States is weak and this secret police station is yet another instance of the CCP infringing on Americans’ way of life.
