BREAKING: James Comer Subpoenas Hunter Biden's Business Partners, Art Patron In Biden Impeachment Inquiry

On Thursday, House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issued a number of subpoenas against various business partners of Hunter Biden as well as those associated with Hunter's business partners. The subpoenas come as Chairman Comer continues to ramp up his investigation into President Biden in the ongoing impeachment inquiry. Thanks to his efforts, Comer has been able to reveal over $22 million in funds from Romania, Ukraine, China, Kazakstan, and other nations that were sent to Biden family coffers.

In the new round of subpoenas, Hunter's business associates Eric Schwerin and Mervyn Yan, as well as Hunter's art gallerist George Bergès and his art patron Elizabeth Naftali, were all called upon to testify before Congress. Additionally, the Kentucky Republican requested a transcribed interview with a former Americore Holdings, LLC representative to discuss "loans" the Bidens received. Last month, Comer revealed that President Biden received a $200,000 loan from his brother, 74-year-old James Biden after the younger brother completed a deal with the failing rural hospital operator Americore.

"In 2018, James Biden received $600,000 in loans from Americore, a financially distressed and failing rural hospital operator. According to bankruptcy course documents, James Biden received these loans 'based upon representations that his last name Biden could open doors and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East thanks to his political connections,'" Comer explained in a video released to X/Twitter last month. "On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into James and Sara Biden's personal bank account, not their business bank account. And then, on the very same day, James Biden wrote a $200,000 check from his same personal bank account to Joe Biden. James Biden wrote this check to Joe Biden as a 'loan repayment. Americore, a distressed company, loaned money to James Biden, who then sent it to Joe Biden. Even if this was a personal loan repayment, it's still troubling that Joe Biden's ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family's shady financial dealings."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Comer, who has been at the forefront of investigations into Biden, officially subpoenaed Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Rob Walker to appear before Congress. Comer also requested interviews with Sara Biden, Hallie Biden, Elizabeth Secundy, Melissa Cohen, and Tony Bobulinski. The subpoenas of Biden's and Hunter's various business partners it the latest silo in the impeachment inquiry launched against the president earlier this year by former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) before he was ousted by fellow House Republicans.

At the time of the impeachment inquiry announcement, McCarthy appointed Rep. Comer, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) to lead the fight to uncover Biden's potential corruption. In their pursuit of the truth, the lawmakers have uncovered a treasure trove of evidence against the Bidens, a $40,000 direct payment from James Biden to Joe Biden.

"With just over a week to go until House Republicans may again thrust the country into a harmful and chaotic government shutdown, the most extreme voices in their party like James Comer are trying to distract from their repeated failures to govern," White House spokesman Ian Sams said about the subpoenas. "Instead of using the power of Congress to pursue a partisan political smear campaign against the President and his family, extreme House Republicans should do their jobs."

Watch Comer's explanation of the $200,000 payment to President Biden below:

As the Biden family's corruption continues to be exposed amid the ongoing impeachment inquiry, Democrats and the White House will attempt to obfuscate in order to cover for the 80-year-old Democrat. The investigations into Biden are not "smear campaigns" as the White House claims but instead are evidence-based pursuits that have already raised significant questions as to whether the Bidens used Joe's position of authority as leverage to benefit themselves financially.
