BREAKING: Oversight Chair James Comer Announces Contempt Of Congress Hearing For FBI Director, Confirms Document Alleging Biden's Bribery Scheme

On Monday, House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) confirmed the existence of FD-1023, the document alleging that Joe Biden accepted bribes in exchange for policy stances during the Obama administration, and announced that FBI Director Christopher Wray will be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to hand over the unclassified document.

"Today, FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified, FBI generated record has not been disproven and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation," Comer said during a press conference on Monday. "The confidential human source that provided information about then-Vice President Biden being invovled in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly credible informant that has been used by the FBI for over ten years and has been paid over six figures."

"These are facts and no amount of spin and frankly lies from the White House or congressional Democrats can change this information," Comer asserted. "At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee and we will now initiate contempt of Congress hearings on Thursday."

"Given the severity and the complexity of the allegations contained within this record, Congress must investigate further," he continued. "Americans have lost trust in the FBI's ability to enforce the law impartially and demand answers, transparency, and accountability."

"The investigation is not dead. This is only the beginning," the chairman said. "It appears that this investigation is apart of an ongoing investigation which I assume is in Delaware. The Oversight Committee will follow the facts and be transparent with the American people with our findings."

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
