BREAKING: Trump Now Leads Joe Biden In New Jersey, A State Not Won By A Republican In 36 YEARS

On Friday, Co/Efficient delivered historic news to 45th President Donald Trump when they released a brand new New Jersey general election poll that showed Trump leading Biden. The last time a Republican candidate for president won the state of New Jersey was in 1988, 36 years ago. The survey, held from June 26 to 27, was taken before CNN's presidential debate that saw Trump win handily according to a CNN poll that found that 67 percent of viewers thought Trump won against Biden's minor 33 percent.

The New Jersey poll showcases the widening electoral map as Trump faces an increasingly weak Biden. In first place, of course, came Trump with a legendary 41 percent. In second place came President Joe Biden with 40 percent. In third place came independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with seven percent. An additional 13 percent of voters remained undecided.

Last month, Trump held a record-breaking rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, that attracted over 107,000 people, the largest political event in New Jersey history. Trump's rally was larger than singer Taylor Swift's blockbuster concert in New Jersey and doubled the size of singer Bruce Springsteen's New Jersey concert. On August 30, 2023, Bruce Springsteen held a concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey, along with Jake Clemons, Max Weinberg, Steven Van Zandt, and the E Street Band at the MetLife Stadium and had a crowd size of "50,000 strong," according to USA Today, half the size of Trump's New Jersey rally. On May 29, 2023, Taylor Swift held a three-night set of concerts at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and had an attendance of 72,802 at the final concert, nearly 30,000 fewer people than Trump's New Jersey rally.

During Trump's Saturday rally, Trump was joined on the stage by New York Giants NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor and Super Bowl MVP O.J. Anderson, who both showed their support for Trump. "As you can see today, we're expanding the electoral map. We're going to win the state of New Jersey. If you want to keep it going, you have to vote for a gentleman named Donald J. Trump," Trump told the record-setting crowd.

"We're joined tonight and today by two incredible football legends, New York Giants Super Bowl heroes. I guess I would have to say Lawrence Taylor is the greatest defensive player ever. I'm a little prejudiced, but I would say that," Trump said last month. "And a man who was possessed during the Super Bowl. He was a Super Bowl MVP. Otis O.J. Anderson, come on up, fellas, for a second. Come on up. These guys. Look at him. Lawrence, you look like you could play immediately. They could use you. Come on up. These guys are serious players," Trump said. "You know they're my golfing partners, too. Tell them. Can Trump play golf? You have to tell them," Trump added.

Trump's New Jersey rally was even larger than his July 2023 record-setting rally in Pickens, South Carolina, which had a crowd over 20 times larger than the town's population. Pickens, South Carolina, has a population of 3,371, according to the United States Census Bureau. Trump revealed in a post on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, that over 75,000 supporters attended his rally despite temperatures being over 90 degrees. "Over 75,000 people came to our incredible Rally yesterday in South Carolina, despite an almost 100 degree temperature. It was amazing, THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT. Thank you, Pickens," Trump added.
