A Catholic High School student has filed a human rights complaint making allegations of religious discrimination after his Ontario high school suspended him for vocally opposing the transgender agenda being imposed by administrators.
According to a report from Fox News, the student’s attorney, James Kitchen from Liberty Coalition Canada filed a claim with the Ontario Civil Rights Tribunal on behalf of 17-year-old Josh Alexander after he was suspended and subsequently trespassed from St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew, Ontario.
Alexander allegedly organized a walkout among his fellow students at the Catholic High School in protest of biological males being allowed in the girls restrooms. According to the report he also made an argument in class rooted in scripture that God created man in two unalterable genders, a view supported by recent statements from Pope Francis.

The complaint cited by Fox explains that some of the Catholic school students became embroiled in an argument during a math class when the young man argued vocally against the bathroom policy. His classmates reportedly branded him a “misogynist”, a “racist,” and a “homophobic transphobe.”
Most disturbingly, as the other students did this, Alexander’s teacher allegedly “nodded and gestured at the students yelling at Josh, indicating his approval of the students’ name-calling.”
The story took a nearly dystopian turn after Alexander was suspended and told that his “continued attendance would be detrimental to the physical and mental well-being of transgender students,” according to Fox News.
Although his suspension was allegedly lifted in January, when he attempted to return to school the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board “excluded” him from the rest of the school year.
That was until Principal Derek Lennox allegedly offered to allow his return if, and only if, he would cease to “dead name,” or use the legal, given names of ‘transgender students,’ and avoid attending classes with two of those students the outlet wrote citing the complaint.
You tried to indoctrinate us.
You tried to confuse us.
You tried to silence us.
You have waged war on our faith and our way of life.
You have awakened a sleeping giant.

When he attempted to return to school on Feb. 6th, the 17-year-old was placed under arrest for allegedly violating the exclusion order.
Alexander posted to Twitter about his arrest writing, “I have just been arrested and charged at my Catholic highschool for attending class after being excluded for indicating my intent to adhere to my religious beliefs.”

In a statement regarding the charges Liberty Coalition Canada said,
“Kicking Josh out of school for expressing his Christian beliefs regarding sexuality and gender is unlawful religious discrimination. The application details the shockingly discriminatory conduct of teachers and students at St. Joseph’s, as well as Principal Lennox’s retaliatory decisions to suspend and exclude Josh for expressing his beliefs and organizing a student walk-out to protest St. Joseph’s policy of permitting biological males to enter and use the girls’ washrooms.”
The coalition added, “Among other things, Josh is seeking from the HRTO a declaration that the School Board discriminated against him on the basis of his Christian beliefs.”
In the text of the complaint, as revealed by Fox News, Alexander’s legal team summarizes the situation.
“Josh believes he is called by the Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim the truth which includes telling those around him about the Lord’s design for gender and to openly oppose the School Board’s policy of permitting males to enter the girls’ washrooms.”
Concluding, “Josh believes he would commit a sin if he disregarded the Lord’s calling on his life and remained silent.”
