Chris Pratt ATTACKED By Woke Online Mob For Being A Devout Christian

Angry Twitter users have come out in droves to attack action star Chris Pratt for talking about his faith and how he uses it to deal with criticism from haters online.

Chris Pratt recently discussed how he responds to online hate through his faith, specifically quoting bible verses, as reported previously by DC Enquirer. Hilariously enough, discussing how he uses his faith to ignore haters caused many people to hate him for his faith.

A tweet compiled many of the varying reactions the action star received to his comments, including such bold ones like “Damn he used to be cool. What a f*cking idiot now. Aging does not equal intelligence. Once you bring up god or Jesus, I dismiss everything you’re saying” and “The way I cannot watch parks n rec anymore because the ICK this man oozes.”

Many other tweets were put out as well, including ones attacking him for “compar[ing] himself to Jesus,” despite the fact he never compared himself to Christ. If anyone actually listened to what the actor had to say, he pointed out the fact that Christianity received criticism 2,000 years ago, so it’s only natural that the religion would receive such vitriol today as well. They’re not interested in what Chris Pratt really believes or says, they just want to attack him for how they perceive organized religion.
After so many actors have come out and been praised for being gay or transgender, it seems like there's a clear agenda when a man comes out and says he uses the almighty love of Jesus to get through criticism. There’s a very clear narrative being pushed by the media and Hollywood, and the Twitter users outraged that a man can follow a religion that doesn’t exactly correlate with their values that have been in existence for two decades at most is bizarre.

What should be a moment of praise towards an actor who has given himself to something greater than himself to become a better person has become a cesspool of nihilism worshipers dragging down the very idea of something greater than their hedonistic lifestyle.

It’s perfectly okay if someone doesn’t follow the same religion as someone else. Christians shouldn't attack a Muslim for following Islam as opposed to Christianity. What is wrong is to attack someone who follows a religion and works to improve themselves within that religion. The hate and vitriol directed towards Chris Pratt for being a man of God is frankly sad and disgusting.
