Elise Stefanik Demands Justice For Trump, Holds 'Lawless' Judge Arthur Engoron Accountable With Hard Hitting Ethics Complaint

On Thursday, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) filed an explosive new ethics complaint to hold anti-Trump Judge Arthur Engoron accountable. Engoron, who is overseeing Trump's New York civil fraud case, has been controversial from the beginning. Nonetheless, his behavior in recent weeks -- including the placement of a gag order on the leading Republican presidential contender, as well as his lawyers -- is beyond the pale. That is one of the reasons Stefanik is taking action -- to give Donald J. Trump the justice and equity he deserves. 

"I just filed an official judicial complaint against Judge Arthur Engoron for his inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance in New York's disgraceful lawsuit against President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization," Stefanik wrote on Twitter. "Americans are sick and tired of the blatant corruption by radical Leftist judges in NY. All New Yorkers must speak out against the dangerous weaponized lawfare against President Trump."

The body of her complaint continued, adding, "I write today to express my serious concerns about the inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance shown by Judge Arthur F. Engoron in New York's lawsuit against President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization. This judge's bizarre behavior has no place in our judicial system, where Judge Engoron is not honoring the defendant's rights to due process and a fair trial." Judge Engoron's behavior against Trump has been truly odd -- from verbal altercations to awkward smiles in front of cameras in a serious case. We, the people, demand answers. 

Stefanik, who has been a close ally of Donald J. Trump, continued, writing, "These serious concerns are exacerbated by the fact that the defendant is the leading candidate for President of the United States, and it appears the judicial system is being politicized to affect the outcome of the campaign. Simply put, Judge Engoron has displayed a clear judicial bias against the defendant throughout the case, breaking several rules in the New York Code of Judicial Conduct."

As such, the New York Congresswoman concluded her remarks by saying, "Judge Engoron's lawlessness sends an ominous and illegal warning to New York business owners: If New York judges don't like your politics, they will destroy your business, the livelihood of your employees, and you personally. This Commission cannot let this continue." Stefanik is precisely correct -- we, the people, deserve and demand a free and fair process of justice for Donald J. Trump, a man of the people indeed.
