Constitutional Crisis: FBI Exposed For Targeting Trump Supporters, Labeling Them ‘Domestic Terrorists’ As 2024 Election Approaches

On Wednesday, Newsweek published an exclusive article revealing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has categorized supporters of leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump’s supporters as “domestic terrorists” and has been tracking them.

The FBI faces a problem - the constitutional right of all Americans, including Trump supporters, to protest the government, speak freely, and campaign.

A current FBI official told Newsweek that the FBI is in an “almost impossible position” since they have the goal of stopping domestic terrorism and preventing another January 6 from happening, but they also have to preserve the Constitutional rights of all Americans.

The unnamed official told Newsweek that the FBI’s mission of preventing domestic terrorism is likely to backfire since they’re targeting Trump supporters.

“Especially at a time when the White House is facing congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has 'weaponized' the bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully," the official told Newsweek.

Newsweek’s William M. Arkin reports, “The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump's army of MAGA followers.”

The Biden administration has labeled President Trump and his supporters as an existential threat to democracy.

In a tweet last September, Biden wrote, "Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country."

“MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections but elections being held now and into the future," Biden added.

In October 2022, the FBI created a new subcategory of “domestic terrorists,” known as AGAAVE.

The FBI’s AGAAVE subcategory is defined as American “domestic violent extremists who cite anti-government or anti-authority motivations for violence or criminal activity not otherwise defined, such as individuals motivated by a desire to commit violence against those with a real or perceived association with a specific political party or faction of a specific political party."

Although Trump or his supporters are never named, this is what would apply to them.

“In practical terms, it refers to MAGA, though the carefully constructed language is wholly nonpartisan,” an official told Newsweek.

“Obviously if Democratic Party supporters resort to violence, it [AGAAVE-Other] would apply to them as well. It doesn't matter that there is a low likelihood of that,” they added.

In September 2023, America First Legal (AFL) released an explosive report claiming that anti-Trump FBI agents in Washington, D.C. unfairly targeted President Trump’s potential appointees by reporting false, unsubstantiated, and derogatory information to the Senate.

The report outlines how all of President Trump’s candidates for presidential appointments were required to face a “broken” federal background investigation, also known as the FBI’s “BI” process, which violated the Privacy Act and the Paperwork Reduction Act.

“Politically biased agents in the Washington, D.C. field office tanked potential appointees by selectively reporting unsubstantiated, derogatory information while disregarding the mitigation procedures required by the FBI’s Manual of Investigative Operations and Guidelines (MIOG),” AFL reports.

Under Biden’s administration, the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice rescinded the regulations to protect Biden’s appointees from the broken BI process.

According to AFL, the biased process was removed under Biden “to protect individuals subject to the BI process, reopening the abuse that occurred when President Clinton accessed information about his political enemies during ‘Filegate.’”

The report outlines how the FBI was used to smear Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate confirmation process by investigating, at the request of Democrats, phony accusations of Kavanaugh committing inappropriate activities when he was a minor against Kavanaugh.

“After Justice Kavanaugh was confirmed with no findings of wrongdoing, Senate Democrats determined that the FBI supplemental investigation was ‘fake’ and that ‘proper oversight’ must be made into how thoroughly the FBI investigated Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing,” the report reads.

“Several of President Trump’s nominees, including Representative Darrell Issa, Representative Ronny Jackson, Judge Sul Ozerden, Jeffrey Byard, and William Bryan were denied confirmations on the basis of FBI BI issues,” the report adds.

The AFL report covers new rules put in place to prevent the “politicization of privacy to spy on political enemies” by the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Policy (OLP) after the Clinton administration.

Terrifyingly, under President Biden, these protections have been rescinded.

“The OLP revoked such regulations that were “designed to protect individuals subject to the BI process. The Privacy Act of 1974 establishes a code of practices governing the collection and dissemination of information of individuals by federal agencies,” The Epoch Times reports.

“The White House and the FBI can now disclose such background investigations outside of the Executive Branch without any notice,” The Epoch Times added.

This comes after Special Counsel John Durham’s May report concluded that the DOJ and FBI “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law” in its investigation between Trump and Russia. Trump has long claimed as such, referring to the investigation as a “witch hunt” numerous times on his social media accounts.

"I, and much more importantly, the American public have been victims of this long-running and treasonous charade started by the Democrats — started by Comey," Trump said in an interview with Fox News. "There must be a heavy price to pay for putting our country through this."
