Shocking New Poll Shows Huge Number Of Dems Support Trudeau’s Policies Against The Freedom Convoy

The authoritarians in the Canadian Government have continued their march on the freedom of their constituents — specifically the Freedom Convoy. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has enabled this onslaught, running his very own “basic dictatorship” along the way. Trudeau simply yearns for more power, and as we know, absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Canadian people have grown tired of Trudeau’s policies surrounding the Freedom Convoy. They know diplomacy and peace are the way to move forward. While many Canadians do blame the Freedom Convoy for the crisis on the Ottawa Bridge, many also blame Trudeau and his radical measures. He has not governed the Canadian people with prudence, and it was unwise of the Canadian Prime Minister to associate the entire Freedom Convoy with racists and Nazis.

With so many Canadians being opposed to the authoritarian policies of Justin Trudeau, one could imagine Americans would be even more united in their opposition to all things Authoritarian. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave after all. In America, we know the Government answers to the people. We elect our leaders, and they are accountable to us. One party does stand opposed to authoritarianism — the Republican Party. One party cherishes authoritarianism, even if they deny it in their statements– the Democrat Party.

A recent Trafalgar Group and Convention of States Action poll (provided exclusively to The Daily Wire) demonstrates to everyone that the Democratic Party has an odd love affair with authoritarian politics. When asked if they support the Canadian Government’s treatment of the Freedom Convoy (which includes ceasing their funds), Democrats said the unthinkable more often than not — they do! Here is the report:

“Trafalgar Group surveyed 1080 likely general election voters from February 18-20 after Trudeau brought federal, provincial, and local law enforcement into Ottawa to forcibly clear out hundreds of protesters and dozens of vehicles from Parliament Hill and surrounding areas. The poll’s margin of error is 3%.

Democrats overwhelmingly favored Trudeau’s response with 65% approval to 17% disapproval. Republican responses were weighted even more heavily against Trudeau, however, with 87% of likely GOP voters disapproving to just 8% approving. Respondents who said they did not belong to either one of the two main parties cut against Trudeau’s crackdown with 74% disapproving versus 21% approving.”

Republicans stand committed to defending liberty. The Dems view freedom as an instrumental good — not something we ought to cherish for its own sake. The results of the poll are staggering, and they only prove the deep divide this country will face in the coming years.
