This Sunday, 45th President Donald Trump praised Former First Lady Melania Trump during an appearance on Roger Stone's program on WABC Radio.
On Tuesday, Trump appeared in a Miami court and pleaded “not guilty” to the 37 charges that were being leveled against the New York businessman for supposedly violating the Espionage Act, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.
Before appearing in the court, Trump spoke with political consultant Roger Stone on WABC radio, who had numerous questions related to Mr. Trump's so-far absent wife.
“A lot of people texted me about this and emailed me in preparation for the show,” Stone said. “People want to know how she’s doing, how she feels about your 2024 campaign to regain the White House, and how she’s holding up during these outrageous, unfair politically motivated attacks on you?”
Trump was quick to praise his wife, calling her “a very beautiful person” and bringing up her “very successful” career as a model which has made her into a “very confident person.” Trump discussed how these aspects shaped the former first ladies' attitude during the political theatrics.
“In a very low-key way, she doesn’t care that much,” he said, continuing with his praise. “She’s got an attitude that’s amazing. She’s got a tremendous heart but she takes things for what they are and she’s just a very confident person. She doesn’t need things like some people, they’re always pushing themselves out there – she’s the opposite.”
Trump made it very clear though that Melania isn’t completely stone-cold when it comes to family affairs.
“How does she take it? She’s hurt when the family’s hurt,” he added.
During the entire 2024 campaign, Melania has made very few appearances, instead seemingly continuing in the background as though life is all the same. Despite not making any notable appearances, she has made it very clear she continues to support her husband's work.
"My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again," Mrs. Trump said in an interview with Fox News last month. “He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
After leaving the post of first lady, Melania has been working hard on her program ‘Fostering the Future,’ which helps the kids in the foster care system get a college education. She’s made it clear that the program has been her main focus, saying “Since leaving Washington D.C., my commitment to the foster community has grown stronger.”
Despite not being covered as much by the media as her husband, Mrs. Trump continues to be active and committed to ensuring that America is a better place for future generations. The country would be honored to have someone like her have another four years as first lady.
