Donald Trump Vows To Use The Military To Deport Illegal Migrants If He Wins In 2024 - 'These People Aren't Legally In This Country'

In a recent interview with Time Magazine, presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump told the outlet that he plans to use military force to deport illegal migrants from our country if he wins in November. While Donald Trump had already committed himself to the idea of mass deportations, it appears the 45th president has a specific mechanism in mind to make good on his plan to protect the sovereignty of America and her people in the years ahead.

The outlet reports that while Trump would prefer to use the National Guard to carry out this mass deportation operation, he also said, "If they weren't able to, then I'd use [other parts of] the military." When the interviewer pressed him on the Posse Comitatus statute -- a law that purportedly excludes the use of military force on civilians, Trump argued that the illegal immigrants in question are not "civilians" in any real and meaningful sense. Why? Because they are here illegally and broke our laws when they came here.

"These are people that aren't legally in our country," Trump added. Recent polling vindicates Trump's approach here, showing that Americans are largely behind the presumptive Republican nominee's closed-border platform. As the Daily Caller previously reported, an Economist/YouGov poll showed 56% of Americans favor "using military troops to arrest and deport people who are in the U.S. unlawfully." These are impressive numbers and numbers we love to see as Americans rally around the MAGA agenda.

Donald Trump already committed himself to deporting illegal migrants en masse during an April interview with talk show host Dan O'Donnell, arguing, "We have no choice. And we are going to start with the bad ones, and the local police will know the bad ones; they will know their name, and their middle name, and their numbers, and they will know everything." As the DC Enquirer previously reported, Trump continued his remarks, adding, "We are going to have to have mass deportations of people, and we are going to have to start with the criminals, and there are so many of them, you would not believe."

Fortunately for America's border security, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024, and, as such, he has a great chance to reimplement a truly potent and America First agenda. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.

As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it. That means rallying around an agenda that is widely popular with Americans -- an agenda that stands up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
