Last Thursday, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) exposed transcripts from interviews with two whistleblowers from the IRS who said they were instructed to not federally investigate President Joe Biden or his family.
IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley Jr. and another anonymous IRS special agent oversaw a probe into Biden’s family.
“I can recall wanting to interview and getting records from Hunter Biden’s children and members of the Biden family,” the unnamed agent said.
“On October 21st, 2021, AUSA Lesley Wolf told us it will get us into hot water if we interview the President’s grandchildren,” the agent added.
“That was completely abnormal, out of the question. And it’s a part of our normal process that we go and interview people, especially people who are receiving money or receiving payments related to a case like this,” the agent continued.
The agent explained that after discussing with his supervisor, they “felt it necessary” to start documenting the “inappropriate comments that were being made - to start documenting them.”
“So, yeah, it says in quotes, ‘will get us into a lot of hot water if we interview the President’s grandchildren,’” the agent said.
These shocking revelations prove leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump’s accusation of “election interference” by the Department of Justice true.
Trump, who was also frivolously indicted by far-left Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in March, was federally indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith last month.
Trump pleaded not guilty to all 37 fraudulent counts brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith relating to him supposedly “mishandling” classified documents.
But don't worry - Trump has the ultimate defense. Trump turned Jack Smith’s frivolous federal indictment of him on its head when he cited the Presidential Records Act as a defense.
The Presidential Records Act is a 1978 law that allows presidents to decide what records to keep and take, regardless of what the National Archives and Records Administration thinks.
On Wednesday morning, Trump took to his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, writing, "Please remember that the only reason I was indicted (ELECTION INTERFERENCE) is because the Democrats don’t want to run against me."
