On Tuesday, far-left Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron ruled that leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump’s stunning beachfront Palm Beach, Florida Mar-a-Lago estate, the Crown Jewel of Palm Beach, is only worth $18 million, a claim real estate insiders have called “utterly delusional.”
Justice Engoron sided with far-left New York Attorney General Letitia James and found Trump, his family, and his business empire, the Trump Organization, liable for fraud. The judge cited a Palm Beach County assessor who appraised Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate from $18 million to $27.6 million.
In reality, Mar-a-Lago is easily worth well over $1 billion dollars. In 2022, during Trump’s April testimony, Trump revealed to prosecutors that Mar-a-Lago is worth $1.5 billion due to a “broker talk” he had.
President Trump reacted to the ruling in a post on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, writing, “WE NEED JUSTICE IN OUR COUNTRY!”
“This political hack judge, who values, Mar-a-Lago, the most spectacular parcel of real estate in Palm Beach, and perhaps all of Florida, at $18 million in order to reduce valuations on my financial statements, which are, in fact, lower than my actual net worth, must be stopped,” Trump added.
“I have had very unfair judges since entering politics, but nobody has been as unhinged as this guy,” Trump explained.
“Mar-a-Lago is worth, perhaps, 100 times more than he values it. Other properties are likewise worth substantially more,” Trump revealed.
“I am worth billions more than my very conservatively stated financial statements, and therefore could not have defrauded the banks, who all made money & were all paid back, or are current, with no defaults or any other problem,” Trump wrote.
“Additionally, there is a powerful Disclaimer Clause on the first pages of the Financial Statements. It states that nothing in the Financial Statements should be accepted as fact,” Trump concluded.
In a swift response to Letitia James’ latest attack on the Trump family, Trump’s son, Eric Trump, wrote in a tweet, “In an attempt to destroy my father and kick him out of New York, a Judge just ruled that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach Florida, is only worth approximate ‘$18 Million dollars.’”
“Mar-a-Lago is speculated to be worth well over a billion dollars making it arguably the most valuable residential property in the country. It is all so corrupt and coordinated,” Eric Trump added.
“It’s utterly delusional to think that property is only worth $18 million," one prominent Palm Beach real estate agent told The New York Post.
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago sits on 20 acres and has 128 rooms. Trump’s club operates as a private club with around reportedly 500 members. For comparison, a 2-acre wooded lot on 1980 S. Ocean Blvd., only 5 minutes away from Mar-A-Lago is listed for $150 million.
“These homes are about 1/30 the size of Mar-a-Lago, not on the beach (let alone the beach and intercostal), don’t span from one side of the Palm Beach Island to the other… it is a travesty of justice and an embarrassment to the court,” Eric Trump wrote in another post on X, formerly Twitter.
Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., wrote in a post, “If my father tried claiming the property was worth $18 million, he would probably then get charged with trying to underpay his real estate taxes!”
“They’ve set the game up so it’s always lose/lose in these blue states. If you don’t abide by their narrative they will target you,” Trump Jr. added.
In a 2022 report, Forbes described Trump's purchase of Mar-a-Lago as one of his best investments, writing, "Trump paid an estimated $10 million for it in 1985 and turned it into a moneymaking club before a rising real estate market made it one of the most valuable homes in the world."
Trump's Mar-a-Lago, the Crown Jewel of Palm Beach, is easily worth well over $1 billion dollars. Justice Arthur Engoron's ruling of $18 million is fake news.
