'GAME OVER FOR THE FAKE FANI WILLIS CASE': Trump Responds To Explosive Court Revelations In Georgia Case

On Thursday, shocking testimony from special prosecutor Nathan Wade and a "good friend" of Fani Willis led to various revelations that could result in the case brought against 45th President Donald Trump is "dead in the water." Trump seemed to celebrate the news in a viral Truth Social post after the shocking testimony that could prove that Willis and Wade, who both have admitted to a romantic relationship with one another, lied to the court about when their affair began.

The court revelations began when Willis' "good friend" and former employee of the DA's office, Robin Yeartie, told the court that she had no doubt that Willis and Wade were engaged in a romantic relationship beginning in 2019 despite the fact that Willis has claimed that they were only friends at that time. "You have no doubt that their romantic relationship was in effect from 2019 until the last time you spoke with her?" lawyer Ashleigh Merchant asked, to which Yeartie responded, "No doubt." Willis claimed to the court that her romantic relationship with Wade only began after he was hired by her office in late 2021.

Later on in the day, Wade made the allegations even worse after he testified that he paid for various luxury vacations using his business credit card and was then reimbursed with cash by Fani Willis. Wade has claimed that he and Willis paid for the vacations roughly equally; however, he only submitted one receipt proving as much. If he was reimbursed with cash, then there would not be any additional receipts showing that the two split the vacation expenses rather than Wade, who was hired by Willis and given a large salary, being the sole purchaser.

"This has been a bombshell, and it has been a slow burn, but if you parse the language, huge, huge issues here," MSNBC legal analyst Caroline Polisi explained. "And I want to be really clear: this is not about a relationship between two consenting adults. It has nothing to do with that. It's about lying to the court; it's about potential financial gain on the part of Fani Willis... the issue is that her credibility is shot...If she lied to the court, if she submitted something to the court that she knew was false and inaccurate, what else is she lying about? It's a horrible, horrible look for her. I think this case is dead in the water."

"This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, then Fani Willis lied to the court, and it's game over for her. She will be disqualified," Polisi added.

In response to the new revelations from Yeartie and Wade, Trump took to Truth Social to react. "MSNBC JUST STATED GAME OVER FOR THE FAKE FANI WILLIS CASE IN GEORGIA," he wrote. "ANOTHER SCAM COORDINATED WITH THE BIDEN WHITE HOUSE FOR PURPOSES OF ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!"

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Nathan Wade's estranged wife, Joycelyn Wade, submitted a document to the Cobb County courthouse showing that the special prosecutor had paid for plane tickets for Fani Willis and himself to San Fransisco and Miami. The submission of the document comes after former Trump aid Michael Roman's lawyer Ashleigh Merchant filed a motion arguing that the duo prosecuting Trump were engaged in a romantic relationship that led to Willis paying him an exorbitant salary to then spend on lavish vacations. The district has paid Wade over $650,000 since he joined the office in November 2021.
