GOP Rep Chip Roy Calls For Kamala Harris To Declare Joe Biden Unfit To Discharge The 'Duties And Powers' Of His Office

On Friday, Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) called for Vice President Kamala Harris to declare President Biden unfit to carry out the duties of his office. This comes after Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance on Thursday, a debate performance that has Democrats all over America panicking and one that surely has many patriots turning to 45th President Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda.

"I intend to put forth a resolution calling upon the @VP to immediately use her powers under section 4 of the 25th Amendment to convene & mobilize the principal officers of the Cabinet to declare the @POTUS is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office," Chip Roy posted, arguing that Joe Biden's lack of competence is unbecoming of our commander-in-chief. He is undoubtedly correct- while Trump exuded competency and charisma on stage, Biden looked dazed and confused throughout the evening and stumbled through a great many of his answers. 

Section IV of the 25th Amendment, which Roy cited, lays out certain broad powers for the vice president to assume acting presidential power if the elected president is unable to lead effectively. "Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President," the text reads. 

Now, a Kamala Harris presidency could be even worse than what we have now -- and that truly is saying something. But we, the people of this nation, cannot ignore what we saw last night, nor should we -- it was a sad sight indeed. Fortunately for America, Donald J. Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024, and, as such, he has a great chance to reimplement a truly potent America First agenda. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.

As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it. That means rallying around an agenda that is widely popular with Americans -- an agenda that stands up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
