In Viral Video, Hollywood Star James Van Der Beek SLAMS The DNC, Biden For Not Debating Primary Competitors

Van Der Beek expressed his discontent on a viral TikTok video, saying, "I cannot get over the fact that the Democratic National Committee is saying there will not be a debate to decide the nominee for president. Are you f***ing kidding me? There’s no debate? There’s no debate over an 80-year-old man who, if he lives, will be the oldest sitting president in the history of the country? And if he doesn’t live, has a vice president whose approval rating is worse than his?"

Van Der Beek, known for his role on the TV show 'Dawson's Creek', is not known for openly expressing his political views. Yet, with Biden's failures so evident, Van Der Beek deemed it necessary to voice his mind against the status quo. 

As such, the Hollywood star continued, focusing his attention on Biden's manifest mental decline.

"This guy has obviously declining mental faculties," Van Der Beek stated. "You’re putting him up in front of a podium with flashcards telling him who to call on and what the questions are going to be. And you’re telling us there’s no debate? What about the will of the people? 

Van Der Beek alleged 72 percent of Biden 2020 voters want there to be a debate -- citing no poll when he did so. He also argued it would not be appropriate for the Democratic Party to post any message on Memorial Day (when the video was recorded), for they are not honoring the sacrifice of our troops by failing to host a debate.

"Stop, think, and do your f***ing job before you start posting about how grateful you are there are people out there who are willing to die to preserve democracy, cause you are not preserving democracy right now. You are shoehorning your pick and forcing it on the rest of us." Van Der Beek argued. 

 "Let's all do our part. We need a debate. How do we have a government, how do we have a democracy, if we’re letting a small, little backroom of people make all the important decisions for us," he said. "It’s not a democracy. It doesn’t work. Because y’all have been wrong about a lot these last couple years in that back room. No debate, no democracy." 

Van Der Beek concluded by admitting he could be wrong in all his assertions. Nonetheless, a debate is the only way to assuage the American people's legitimate concerns. We could not agree more.
